so today my ex boyfriend texted me for the first time in a year and a half. My heart started racing and i was happier then i had been since the day we stopped talking. Were having a normal conversation which was pretty weird since we haven't spoken. I asked him why he left and he said that i made him. I asked if we could start over and he said probably not.This boy is the love of my life so obviously i was crushed. "well whyth hell not?" i asked him. And 2 minutes later i got a text back saying

"Because all i've been thinking about lately is dying"

.....My heart sank into my chest and i curled up into a ball and just started crying so much. More than i've cried in a long long time.. its been a year and this boy still has all of me and now i just don't know what to do

I'm not an expert at these things but I think what he needs now is a friend, a supporter and not necessarily a girlfriend. Maybe you should try be that in his life. :/

I asked him for that. I said that I want to help and that just being his friend is enough for me but he doesn't want anyone and he wont let me help or back into his life for that matter

yeah I know I need to let him go. Its just a very difficult process. Probably the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. I know someday I will it just really sucks. But thank you for your advice and time anyway. I really appreciate it :) <3
