I fell in Love With Mickey Mouse
(literally)
Chapter # 56
Like a wise man once said, I'm not as think as you drunk I
am.
I didn't have to pull down my windows to hear the noise these
kids called 'music'. I was scared to get out of the car
and full of regrets, as usual. I shouldn't have came
here. I shouldn't have stepped out of my hotel. I should have
stayed. Lord, in heaven, if you gave me a brain, please tell me
how to use it. I jumped from the knock on my window. It was
Kai, who was probably wondering why I wasn't getting out. I
pulled down my window.
"Please tell me you mixed up the directions." I
begged
"No, I'm pretty sure this is my house." He said as
he scanned it.
"Your parents are ok with you doing this to your home?"
I wondered
"What's wrong with it?" He asked
"It's a mess." I answered
"You haven't even been inside, how do you know if there
is a mess?" Kai investigated
"I can feel it." I replied as I got out of my car. Kai
guided me towards the door. I was right, the second I walkd in I
saw a stain of what appeared to be beer, I hope it was
beer...
"See, told you." I said
Kai was too busy looking for his friends to notice that I
spoke.
"Hey guys." He excitedly greeted as we walked towards
them. During the walk there I felt so many people, it was like
they were trapped together like pickles in a jar. For God's
sake ladies back away from eachother, we're not trying to
make human soup here.
"Hey Kai, my amigo." A guy who looked like Kai spoke. I
couldn't tell if he was better looking because of all the
strobe lights flashing in my eyes.
"Who's this?" He asked
"This is my new friend, Ella. Ella, this is Alex. My best
friend." Kai yelled.
"Nice to meet you." I smiled
"Pleasure is all mine, really." Alex smiled back. Kai
gave him a glare.
"Back off punk." Kai joked
Alex put up his hands in the sky as a sign of surrender. Kai
grabbed my hand and led me to a table full of food, beer and
hopefully grass. I grabbed some chips and salsa.
"Which kind do you like?" Kai asked
"I like the medium, so its not too spicey and not too
mild." I answered
"I was reffering to beer." He laughed
"Beer?"
"Do you not like beer, because if you don't we have some
wine and voldka in the fridge." He said
"No it's not that, I just don't drink." I
answered
"What? How old are you?" He asked
"Eighteen." I replied
"And you've never been drunk?" He asked in awe.
"I've tasted some beer during a family get together, but
I've never really been drunk." I said
"You're kidding, how on earth do you party with out
it?" He wondered
"Yeah, I don't usually go to parties either." I
admited
"Well your here now" He said as he held up a can of
Heineken towards me. I took it and popped it open and took a
sip.
"You like it?" He asked
"It's alright." I smiled
Okay, okay I know how this seems. I'm giving in to peer
pressure. But, honestly I'm an adult and besides, it's
not like I was going to get drunk by drinking one can of
beer.
