I missed a lot of classes this year due to sickness and other reasons and I promised my parents an eighty percent this year but I'm barely managing a seventy percent even though I got above sixty on all my assignments but obviously that doesn't count. I wish my dad was here since he's understanding but he's on a business trip and report cards come out this friday and i'm gonna have to face my mom and i'm so scared because she's so...demanding and is going to freak. And I'm being really serious because at this very moment I'm on the verge of tears and I feel like such a failiure. I made an appointment with my guidance counsellor and he's not even caring even though I mentioned "Emergency" on the note. I'm mentally breaking down. I know the year just started but one word comes to mind.

FAILURE.

Please help me.

You aren't a failure, I promise. Tell your mom you are having a hard time. Maybe try and get a tutor? Get help from your teachers, Stay after school. Tell your parents that you are trying. I hope for the best my love!

It's just that my mom has such high expectations and I just don't know how to show her my report card. I can't explain that the first one doesn't matter, but she won't care and I have expectations of myself as well and I'm soooo disappointed in myself.

Just think that your dad is your stable wall..... he may not be there to protect you physically but think of what he would say about the entire situation
