When
I was little,
I heard that you
could see the stars in Alaska.
So I took one of my dad's maps,and I highlighted a route
to
Bethel, Alaska.
Then I started saving money in a shoe box.
I promised myself that someday I would use that money
to run away to Alaska,
and live under the stars.
