so many users on witty HAVE self diagnosed their 'depression' and therefore them saying they have it when they dont IS mocking depression.

Unless they truly believe they have depression. I knew i had depression before I was diagnosed with it. I never mocked it. I never made fun of it or anything. Some people can tell they have depression before other can see it, because their the only ones who know what goes on in their minds. So, you can't honestly say that their mocking it, unless you can read minds and you know exactly what their thinking 24/7. From my page you wouldn't think I have it, but I have Major Depression. I'm just good at hiding it, because I don't want to burden any one with my problems. I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't say that just because someone hasn't be diagnosed with depression by someone with a doctoring degree means they don't have it. Sorry if that makes me sound rude, but I just feel strongly about this, because so many people used to say that I didn't have depression, just because I always seemed happy and just because I wasn't officially 'diagnosed'.
