i don't know why americans doubt british artists.

i'm sorry but british artists are more successful than american artists.
look at the beatles, they were more than famous..
i'm not hating on americans, by the way
look at adele, one direction, cher lloyd
look at amy winehouse, what an amazing career she had... she gave everyone an inspiration.

no american artists can leave a mark like british artists do
the only true inspiration from america is demi lovato
no one will look up to nicki minaj, lady gaga, they might like the messages they give out, but it's nothing like it.
no one will want to look up to justin bieber, he's a horrible person... i'll tell you my opinion on him in another post.
no offense to americans, it's just that your artists mean nothing...not even taylor swift

This would be a good quote had you used a real method to choosing the artists.
You listed one, if not THE most, influential British artist but only listed passing trends in American music.
Americans have had many, many crazily successful bands and artists as well. For example, Michael Jackson and Madonna.
Both are/were global sensations of their time and are fondly remembered as the king and queen of their genre.
What about Guns n Roses and Journey? Just TRY to find a person who hasn't heard at least one of each band's songs. They are legendary, to say the least.
All four of the artists I just listed far surpass Adele, One Direction, Cher Lloyd (whoever that even is), and Amy Winehouse as far as their impact on music goes.
You can't list the Beatles for Britain and only list 21st century 15-minutes-of-fame pop artists for America; that's biased and does not help to prove your point at all.
This is all coming from me, a British and American citizen, not some butthurt all-American girl. I've lived in both countries; I have much love for both countries but I'll be honest, American music has had just as much, if not more, influence as British music.

Please, different people have different inspirations that mean something different to each and every one of us. Get that? That word, different. That's right, we're all unique. So what your opinion is might hurt someone else's. Learn to keep it to yourself at the right times.

Ikr. I think Gotye is the only Australian artist people know... With his song - 'Somebody that I used to Know'.

Err excuse me, I'm British and that is sooo wrong, intact lady gaga is Italian also what about green day, three days grace and Amy lee? What about linkin park? Simple plan? David Guetta? Anyway you get the picture, a lot of American artists are amazing and personally I think simple plan are better the the Beatles and I also think my chemical romance are better then one direction, I think all American rejects are better then Cherr Lloyd, and of cause Amy Lee is way better the Amy Winehouse (my opinion) please do not post this on here since this website isn't for this! This is NOT a quote! I hate this personally! Remember I'm British and I 100% disogree!

What do you mean 'doubt'? I don't think anyone 'doubts' The Beatles or Queen or The Rolling Stones... by the way, Justin Beiber is Canadian, and using modern day idols like Nicki Minaj for Americans is just.... insulting, I guess is the word. What about Nirvana? The Beach Boys? Van Halen? Aerosmith? Whitney Housten? Elvis Presley? Michael Jackson? Guns and Roses? Prince? Pearl Jam? Blink 182? Tell me they mean nothing now. I'm sorry, but it seems as though you lack a bit of culture. I greatly appreciate and am immersed in British culture, as I am living in the UK currently, and all I ask is you do research before you spout of nonsense.

Sorry, my sass got a little out of hand! But saying that American artists are irrelevant is totally ignorant! There are great American artists in the same fashion that there are equally great British artists! And not to mention she totally undermined Green Day with this quote, and that me off.

And I should mention that modern day rock and roll was created by Chuck Berry, an American man. Tell me that has no impact, please. I'd like to hear what it is you've got to say.
