That you loved when you were a little kid is actually a morbid and gruesome story with a traumatizing truth behind it?

I think it is interesting to read through these theories. I'd never heard the phineas and ferb one until I just looked it up now. It is so unlikely but interesting to think about. True though that fairytales used to be very twisted.

Phineas and Pherb. I'm pretty sure the story behind it's not legitimate though.

well actually most fairy tales started off pretty gruesome. Disney and other story book writers change the endings to make it sutible for childeren. For example in the oringinal Beauty and the Beast, Beast dies at the end but in the Disney movie he didn't. but yes many cartoons do have darker meanings

It's actually that the adults of the place in Peanuts, killed all the children and they were stuck as kids forever.

well it's not terrible but it's about each character symbolizing a different aspect of a personality

I think its sick that animators/ people who come up with those kind of movies would think of something so twisted and spit it to our young minds at our most vulnerable years...like we're eventually gonna find out how f//king perverted and or disgusting you are, our imaginations may be f//ked up because of you, but we sure as hell are not stupid.
ig im lucky tho cuz my fave childhood movies were Spirit and Lady and the Tramp :]

I don't think it's that bad, i mean all fairy tales you know are actually pretty bad in origional form, but they told the gruesome stories on the bonfire int he middleages and there where children from 6to 18 that listened to that, they say that young minds just pick up on what they can handle, while it has more dept for an older child

What's the sad story behind it?

ChocoTaco · 1 decade ago
It's supposedly about a girl who got murdered and her sister committed suicide, which was an actual real event. But I don't know if the movie was about that or if it was a coincidence. And Totoro (he's like a cute fluffy creature) is actually a death God, but I doubt that's true ._.
