It's not as fun because all you see are copied and pasted quotes in the top quotes. It's gotten to the point where I rarely look at the "top today" thing because I know that the majority of the quotes posted, will either be from tumblr or twitter or even copied from here and posted again. I think it's totally fine if you post something from another site from time to time, but it shouldn't be every quote. Oh, and I have gotten 3 or 4 people to join Witty but a week or two after they make the account, they never come back. So..yeah. *shrugs*

I don't think it's fair to blame the people -posting- quotes from tumblr/twitter for being top quotes, it'd be more accurate to blame the people adding those quotes to their favorites. Most of the people I've noticed that post tumblr quotes generally post the same amount of -original- content, but they don't get as many faves. If you got around 200 faves for reposting something from tumblr and only got like 15 for something original, wouldn't you keep posting from tumblr?

I think that the most useful approach would be to advertise! Print off some Witty Profiles flyers and put them in public places! If you go to a library, put them there, or those bulletin boards in front of grocery stores, or even in public bathrooms. Once School starts, we can do it there as well. Who's with me? :3

In my opinion I think Witty is beyond boring for me now. I remember when I first joined. I would be so excited to sign in but now I really dont wanna come on here anymore. All I see on the top quotes now are the same people over and over again... How is that fun? Its fun for them cause their getting all the faves and notifications. I put the exact same quote as BravoSierra did just weeks before and today I see she posted the same thing but she got like 66 favs and I only got 3. IT WAS THE SAME FREAKKNIG QUOTE. Like why does it matter if someone is "famous" on here? I think its useless for me to post quotes anymore because no one is gonna like it anyway.

When you are the one posting quotes, people comment on it. 97% of the time they happen to be nice. But then theres always that one person that wants to start an argument. Like 2/3 weeks ago I posted a quote about thigh gaps because everyone was making quotes about them. And I saw that this one girl commented on someones quote and she was like, "Thigh gaps are ugly and not natural." so I was like "excuse me?" So I made my own quote and then this one girl was all hating on me. So I was like "Whats your problem?" So like... now a days you cant post quotes and stating your opinion because you will get hate comments. And back then quotes would get like 2000+ favs(I would know cause one of my quotes got 1000+favs) Now you can get a top quote with only 200 favs? Like half of witty disappeared. And there would be different people on the top quotes like: DamnnTaylerx, xoalicecullenxo, mustaches_,SocietyKilledTheTeenager,JustDropItLikeItsHot, NOW its like: yourcool,yourcool,yourcool,yourcool,yourcool,yourcool,yourcool,yourcool,ChocoTaco,yourcool,yourcool,yourcool,yourcool,Bravosierra, yourcool,yourcool,yourcool,yourcool,yourcool,yourcool,yourcool,yourcool.THATS NOT COOL. I want to suggest that we should have "Detox Weekend" again. Cause THAT WAS COOL.

I think it's because a couple of wittians get worshipped, top quotes is only their quotes so a lot of people don't go to topquotes anymore, because it arn't the good quotes anymore, it are the quotes of the same people

I do usually hate these quotes, but you are right, but I don't think Witty is going to change.

Since Witty is dead, less people who joined go on it now, which means not everyone will see this message and this message might not help that much. I'm sorry, if this offended you, but to be honest, I think it's the truth.

Well I liked how in the old witty it would be different people with top quotes with more than 500+ likes and the top now would be with more than 50+ likes.if we have different people on the top quotes it would be great and it will also help all of us to interact with these different people. Right now it just seems like the faves and followers are more important
