Guns aren't only used in murders, keep that in mind. Hunting, for example. Snipers. Guns have changed the way we fight in wars. We NEED guns. Banning them isn't necessarily going to bring the homicide rate down. There are thousands of other ways to do it. Are they going to ban knifes too?

I kind of agree. But, when you said the two men were arguing, they would be more likely to stab one another than to shoot eachother. Also, I know you said banning guns won't solve everything but, if we were to ban guns, that's not going to stop people from getting them. Banning guns will create a black market for them. What does that mean? It means the number of gang violence will increase and the people that will have the guns, are the people that are going to abuse them. Banning guns is taking guns away from the people who will use them responsibly.

Just adding one more thing. If there's a black market for guns, they'll be cheaper, and will go unregistered, so there will be no way of determining who has a gun, what gun, or how many guns they have.

Yeah, you're right. Just like the black market for drugs in many many countries. But I still do believe banning guns will help. The sudden out-of-fury gun murders will decrease.

Yes, guns make killing people easier. EXACTLY. People are acting as if killing isn't a big deal, it is! Every death affects tons of people! Banning guns would lessen the amount of deaths, less people's lives would be ruined.

The baby isn't even a baby yet- it's a fetus. It is not developed enough to have feelings thoughts. You could say it's not fully alive. I agree with BringMeTheEric, if you don't like abortion, don't get one. Simple.
Just because I don't think abortion is fully wrong doesn't mean I'm a baby ki*ller. If someone was to ki*ll a real-deal baby (that is fully alive and has developed thoughts, feelings, etc.), I would be outraged.
Long story short: I agree with BringMeTheEric.

Actually. You have the right to take somebodies life. If they are directly threatening your life. It's called self defense. Therefor if the baby is going to kill the mother. She would have the right to abort it. Now that's if you think abortion is actually killing. Which it really isn't.

People can kill you without guns. For example, you can google how to make a bomb with household products (I'm being serious here) and you can stab people. There are hundreds of ways to kill people without guns (peroxide in the bloodstream, poison, slit their jugular, you know that stuff)
