No you are not. I sooo don't want him to leave, he was my first Doctor! I started watching it on the Christmas Special 'The Snowmen' and since then I have watched all of Eccleston's eps, most of Tennant's and all of Smith's and Smith is definitely my favourite Doctor! I don't want him to goooooo! :'(

I knooow! I'm gonna sob my eyes out when he leaves, I just know it! Although, I'm curious to see who will replace him - there's a small rumour going around that Rupert Grint might replace him as the next Doctor but I don't know if that's true or not because they mostly go for people who aren't that well known... There's also a rumour that the next Doctor might be a woman.

Yay! The 50th anniversary special is going to be pure brilliance! Tennant and Billie Piper are coming back! I'm soooo excited and it comes out the day after Hunger Games Catching Fire!! I think it'd be interesting to see a woman play the Doctor but at the same time, I don't think it would work :/ I'd love it though, if Rupert Grint replaced him but I doubt it would happen - my friend, Hannah, has a (ginger) friend who is auditioning for the role of the next Doctor and it would be totally awesome if he got the role! :)

I think because the 12th Doctor is supposed to be the 'last' Doctor, as a TimeLord has 12 regenerations, they wanted to make the 12th Doctor ginger to probably 'go out with a bang' as Tennant and Smith both wanted to be ginger :) although, they'll find a way around the whole 'last regeneration' thing :) And I didn't really like Tennant at first but I really love them both now. And I knoooow, I'm so damn excited for Catching Fire - have you read the books? :')

I did not know about the 12 regeneration thing!! :O they best find a way because I need doctor who in my life xD same here. But I fell in love with them by the end of the first episodes ;D yesssssssss OFCOURSE I have! I read them earlier last year...read all three in two days. Yes I'm a sad child xD

Haha, don't worry, I read them a little slower but that's only because fanfiction got in the way haha! And hells yeah, I can't live without Doctor Who either... Oh well, we have Moffat - he finds a way around everything despite being a heartless b*stard :) I fell in love with Tennant after a while but I'll always prefer Smith - he's my Doctor <3

As much as I love this idea, BBC won't EVER (as far as I can tell) put someone who is not from England, Scotland, Ireland, or wales. The most likely candidate (i think) is some unknown person, or someone with a few roles because that's what tends to happen. Please don't think I'm being rude or anything by shooting down your idea.

There have been rumors of a female companion. For those who can shoot this down here is how this can happen: if you go back to the forth doctor (Tom Baker), when his companion, who was a time lady named romana regenerated she took the form of an alien queen or something. So time lords can take the shape of people. That is why I am hoping for John barroman (Captian Jack)
