Recently, I went to a music festival with some
of my friends.
The festival was quite
well-known, and aimed at mainly teenagers and young adults.
There were thousands of people there; each and every one
different.
But I couldn't help noticing that almost everyone shared
something common.
Self harm.
Cuts from wrist to elbow lined the arms of teenagers everywhere,
each one with a different story.
And it made me think,
"How is the mistreatment of our
generation going unnoticed?"
At least every one in ten people at the festival had cut, but
no-one was doing anything about it.
It was almost as if
everyone had already given up.
