Forever Young

Chapter Seventeen

By the time we got there, the guys and I had picked a song that Fizz, Mouse, Fox, and Teddy recorded on my I-Pod once because they were bored. It was Taylor Swift’s Sparks Fly. I have lads of songs on my I-Pod that they recorded when they got bored.
We walked into Simon’s office to find him sitting at his desk.
“Hello, boys,” he said, smiling, and we all smiled too.
“Hi Simon,” Louis said. “We brought you something.”
“What do you want?” he asked and we chuckled.
“Well,” Harry said. “We have these friends that are really good singers and want to know if they can open for us.”
“Do you have anything of them you can show me?” he asked.
“Yeah,” I responded. “I’ve got loads of stuff on my I-Pod.”
I put their version of Sparks Fly on and Simon smiled.
“They’re pretty good,” he said. “But do they have charisma?”
“Don’t even ask,” Harry chuckled, pulling out his phone and showing Simon a video of the four of the girls performing The Real Slim Shady and Magic, from a year or two ago.
“Will Smith don’t gotta cuss in his raps to sell records,” I watched Weasel sing while walking around stage and goofing off with Sophie. “Well I do. So ---- him and ---- you too.”
“So the little on raps?”  he asked and I nodded.
“Yeah,” I said smiling.
“He’s smiling again, boys,” Louis said and I rolled my eyes.
Louis then put his hand on my mouth and tried to flatten my mouth. It didn’t work.
“Am I missing something?” Simon chuckled.
“Promise you won’t tell the fans?” Zayn asked.
“No!” I shouted, jumping up and covering his mouth.
“Niall’s got himself a little girlfriend,” Harry said and I smirked.
“Sometimes I wish there weren’t four of you,” I sighed, though I was still smiling, and Simon chuckled
“Well, way to go Niall,” he chuckled. “I won’t tell the fans until you want to.”
“Thanks,” I awkwardly chuckled.
“So,” Simon said, standing up. “I think these girls would make a good opener. Let them know and they can wing something tonight. They’ll have a small rehearsal for next week’s show tomorrow.”
“Thanks Simon!” we shouted in unison, running out the door.

FIZZY’S POV

By the time all of us girls got ready, it was almost lunchtime. I had straightened my hair and threw on a black and red “I <3 Niall” snapback he had gotten me as a joke a while ago. I threw on a simple shirt, short shorts, and black flip flops. Nothing fancy, it was going to be a casual day. I felt at my neck for the matching necklace Niall and I have both had for as long as we can remember. It was there, and so I headed out of the bathroom.

When I went back out into the living room area of our hotel room, the girls were all ready.
“Lou called,” Mouse said. “They want us at Harry’s flat.”
“Why?” I whined. “We were there like an hour ago.”
“I dunno,” she responded. “But we need to leave.”
I hobbled my way into the car (I really don’t know why I’m still on these crutches) and we drove to Harry’s. When we got out of the car, I left my crutches in it this time. I really didn’t need them.
“You’re here!” Niall shouted and I laughed.
“Again,” I said. “Why did you need us?”
“You know how you said you love to entertain?” Niall asked, putting his hands on my arms.
“Yeah?” I said, confused.
“Well someone’s boyfriend got the idea to ask Simon to let you open for us, and Simon said yes,” he said and I quickly wrapped my arms around Niall’s neck and kissed him.
“All four of us!?” I asked, smiling like crazy, and he nodded, chuckling.
“Yes,” he said, laughing at my happiness.
