“Grace, dear, I hope you didn't use a fake ID to get in here.” Miss Lake was wearing a sparkly number and stilettos that I would never be able to walk in. Mr Parker was wearing jeans and a button up top, he looked immaculate.
He looked as if he had just walked out of a magazine and he had been awarded the title of 'worlds hottest man'.
“Of course not, we're just here with some friends celebrating Logans birthday.”
“Oh, Logan, happy birthday.” Miss Lake had taught me last year and lets say she didn't particularly like me. I was okay with that, I didn't need her to like me because her opinion wasn't valid nor important to me.
“Thank you,” I muttered.
“Babe, I'll be back, I just need to go bathroom,” Miss Lake said to Mr Parker as he ordered some drink.
“I'm going to find Will,” Grace winked and I was left alone with Mr Parker.
“Happy birthday,” he said, almost reluctantly.
“Thanks.”
“You know, I'm sorry, I'm sorry for everything.”
“Yeah, me too.”
“Come with me,” Mr Parker told me, taking my hand.
“What about Miss Lake?” I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.
“Just come.”
“Mr Parker, I'm fine here.”
Mr Parker sighed, “Come with me, Logan.”
“Okay,” I said and walked with Mr Parker.
