P r o l o g u e

I walked into my favorite store and smiled, tapping my foot to the All Time Low song they were playing currently. Pacsun always had the best clothes. I immediatly spotted a head of dark red hair, the kind that isn't natural, but dyed, and snuck up behind it.

"Hello, Linda," I said in my creepiest whisper I could muster, directly in her ear. She started, jumping up and squealing, before she turned on her heal and gave me the dirtiest glare while pointing her finger at me.

"KAYDEN!"

Linda is a worker at Pacsun, and that's how I know her. She's a college student, and I'm in high school, so I don't get to see her very often, but I love when I go Pacsun and she's on her shift. I grinned sheepishly at her, and put my hands up in fake surrender. I nodded at her Forever Young purse.

"You got a gun in there? I don't think my mom would like my deceased body dragged home in a Pacsun bag," I said, seriously.

She laughed. "Paper or plastic?"

We both laughed and she told me the mandetory speech, just to let you know we have a buy one get one free deal off the racks in the back because it's after christmas blah blah blah...

I spaced out and before I knew it Linda was snapping me back to reality. It was kind of hard to concentrate on anything that she was supposed to say.

"So, did you get that?" She asked. I nodded, staring at my shoes. She laughed.

"I highly doubt you got that, but here's a sale rack, help yourself," She pointed me towards the rack in the back that was stocked with skinny jeans and I did, in fact, help myself, everything was 70% off. I bet that's what Linda was saying, I thought, stiffling a laugh. I couldn't listen for the life of me. I moved onto the next rack, which were shirts.

I pulled out a blue, silky, thin shirt with stars patterned randomly around it. I smiled at this shirt. Stars are my favorite shape.

I heard the sqeak of sneakers behind me. I hesitated. I was at the corner of the store, and nobody was really here since it was a Tuesday night. Immediatly I thought it was Linda, but no, she was wearing her flats today. I braced myself and turned around, but became completely awestruck when my eyes met with the most beautiful ones I've ever seen in my whole entire life.

A/N
So, you guys like it? I have big plans for this story, I've got the whole plotline stuck in my head like a catchy Taylor Swift song.
I'm only going to continue this if it gets 5 faves. I'm not begging for faves or anything, I just don't want to make a story that nobody reads.
I do notify, and I'm extremely sorry to all of my Messenger fans, I can't upload the fourth chapter for some reason without it being 'Pending Moderation', so I can't really continue on with the story. I still <3 you though.
