I think she was sick, considering what she was wearing out in 30-something degree weather. :P in all honesty. I love Taylor, her songs are good and she sounds amazing on audio, but almost ALL singers don't sound as good live as they do on recordings.

I'm with you on that. I watched her New Years performance on youtube (since I don't get it on my TV because different country thing) and when she hit that one note in We are Never Ever Getting Back Together I was just about ready to gauge my eyes and ears out.

even though I really like taylor swift and I have been a fan since 5th grade, she doesn't sound the best live. I mean she has her good and bad days. then again I can't imagine the pressure and since she probs has to dance and sing at the same time it could take some of her breath away I guess...it just makes me mad that so many people are so talented out there and the people that get discovered have no talent what so ever. I am NOT saying that is taylor swift though I was just saying in general. like for example everyone on disney channel now (except for good luck charlie and phineus and ferb) haha

Well number one, being outside in the cold isn't the best situation for your vocal chords. I just did a project on this. And the songs that she sang were very high and difficult to sing. She normally sings inside with good acoustics and you can't really do much to your microphone unless you're suggesting auto tune. And auto tune is very easy to spot. I've been to one of her live concerts and she was a lot better

Well the reason she sang them are because they're the most popular. Most people don't want to hear her other songs cause they want to be able to sing along with her. And that's your opinion, i didn't even see her at the grammy's.

I've never liked Taylor Swift. Not when she was a country singer and sure enough not now.
Obsessed 'Swifties' don't hate me that I don't love your lesbian crush. I just never liked her.
&I just watched that performance and dear god my ears are bleeding.

umm do you have to go and waste your words and energy hating on someone? If you don't like her music or thinks she sounds bad live, then don't listen to her. Also, it's really hard to sing when you're dancing around stage, but when you are standing and singing to a recorder or whatever, it's a lot easier... and like somone else said, everybodys voice falters a little, and nobodys perfect.

stop hating. its a waste.
