Wait, another thought, if moonlight is the reflection of sunlight, and vampires can't been seen in reflections, if they're hit by moonlight, can they be seen? O___o

Sorry I accidently deleted it I was on my phone and forgot you couldn't reply. Anyways Yes they are two different celestial bodies, but the dust particles on the moon have a reflective quality and reflect sunlight which what makes the moon look like its glowing. The moon doesn't generate its own light. Anyone who's been through a 7th grade science class would know that...
