Summer Love

*Part Six*

*This is all true and I just had to get it off of my chest, sorry:/*

   When we swam to the other side of the pool, Austin sat Brycson up on the ledge and let him splash while we talked. We took our eyes off of him for a few seconds and he inched himself off the side of the pool and went under. Austin quicky dove down and scooped him up in his arms. "Shh, Buddy." He lulled him while he coughed the water out of his lungs. "Shh, it'll be alright." Brycson soon was up and running around again which ment Austin was out chasing him around. He wasn't with me.

   My parents motioned us to leave; there was a big, black cloud hovering over the area. I waited for Austin to come back, and he did; but without Brycson. He said his Mom took him. Great. I told him that I had to leave and he played it off like the didn't care that much, but his eyes gave him away. "Thanks for the bracelet." I said.

   "No problem."

   "Bye."

   "Bye." I got out and dryed off to go back to my hotel room. That was the saddest part of my day. I knew I would never see him again. And I kick myself now for not getting his last name or phone number. But I guess that's just how summer love works, right?
