Part one

I arrived to school five minutes later, it wasn't difficult finding the building. I could see Carson with a bunch of people, laughing. I wish I was normal. Most girls where wearing skirts.  I walked silently into the building, clutching the necklace around my neck. The necklace that the little girl, Maddison gave to me. What I saw that day would always be in my head… I watched as that man murdered the poor little girl. After he killed her, a terrible death filled with pain he threw her into the large hole and I ran back to the camp site. ''Hey, you're that new girl right?'' a guy with brown hair and bright green eyes asked. I nodded my head. ''Do you need help getting to the front office?'' I nodded once again. He walked me to the front office, he just talked to me. I don't think he knew I didn't speak. ''Uh, Ms, this is the new girl,'' he said. 

''Oh, thankyou Aaron! Your Avalaya, am I correct?'' the lady asked. The guy- Aaron looked at me. 

''Avalaya, thats a pretty name… mind if i call you Ava?'' he asked. I shook my head. ''Okay, cool.'' 

''It says you're living with Carson Roberts,'' the lady said. ''And that you're mute-'' she covered her mouth like she said something bad. 

''Oh, that explains a lot… I just thought you where shy.''

''Aaron, do you mind showing Avalaya around? She's in all your classes.'' 

''Sure, I don't mind.'' 

''Well then it's settled, Avalaya, here is your schedule… Aaron will show you around and I think the principle may want to speak with you. He's not here currently, though.'' I nodded my head. ''Alright, bye darling!'' 

''So you're living with Roberts?'' Aaron asked, a smirk on his face. I nodded and raised my eyebrow up at him. ''How's it living with 'the schools hottest boy ever','' Aaron mimicked a girls voice when he said the last bit. I grinned and rolled my eyes. ''Mhm, so you're not falling for him.'' I shook my head. ''My girlfriend would love you…  she hates Carson. C'mon, let's go so you can meet her.'' I followed Aaron to a girl with brown hair and big, brown eyes. She was laughing at something another girl said. 

''Hey Aaron,'' she waved. Aaron wrapped his arms around her and kissed her cheek. 

''Hello gorgeous,'' I could hear Aaron say.
