I know I've said this before, but I
really need to bring it to some people's attention again.
Stop saying you're depressed, unless you actually have the
disease. Depression just isn't because you're sad,
it's a serious illness that effects your ability to focus and
can cause suicidal thought/actions much more often then someone
who is sad.
You can die from depression, and I know people that actually have
the brain condition that screws up your entire life.
If you just got out of a relationship or something, don't say
that you're depressed.
You AREN'T.

okay. listen to me. I've been depressed, no it wasn't the disease. I was sad. so sad I cut and attempted suicide.. I didn't have the disease. yet you're going to sit here and tell me I wasn't depressed? okay fine. then what was I?!?!? TELL ME

@JadeyRawrRawr I think she's talking about more like when people say, "I love this dress but I saw the price tag--it was depressing" and stuff. Or like, "My boyfriend broke up with me and now I'm depressed" even if the girl has had a billion other boyfriends before. I mean I guess you never know if someone is actually depressed and what they really feel like, but her point is that people take things like "depression" (and "love" and "hate") to lightly.

ITS PEOPLE like you that won't understand others. SO WHAT? They might not HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH IT BUT THEY F*CKING KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE. I have it and i did see a doctor. But stop it. you don't know. some peopel MAY get depressed EVEN WITHOUT A DIAGNOSIS.
