Foundation and powder. Just make sure it blends with the restvof your skin. And make sure that you're not wearing anything that would rub against it. Also, wear like boy shorts underwear that would cover your hip.

Foundation. Or you could wear a bunch of thick bracelets.. or band-aids.

Put some alcohol to clear the red part of the cut
Then put some ice on it to make the cut go down
(some cuts look swollen)
Try putting some foundation and if you dont have any just wear a long sleeve to the doctor s hes not going to ask you to take ur shirt off
one last thing dont wear no bracelet or jewelery this will only make the skin look redder because if the cut is fresh the bracelet can be made of some product that the inner skin is allergic too (doctors words not mine)
So i hope this helps and if it doesnt then i am terribly sorry for not being much more help :S

.... honestly, I cant tell you not to cut bc I have done it aswell, and i know what its like to go through that whole lecture from other ppl about it. So what I use to do is.... if they arent too scabbed up, use a moisturizzer, then if you have it a make up primer, concealer, foundation, and powder. and blend blend blend it all out. Add more on if needed. But if they are still a bit scabby and fresh, do what I just said, and wear some jewelry or a thick bracelet or something to kind of cover it up. hopefully that helped <3 good luck
