I still love you.

Chapter 22.
"Ready babe?"  Connor asked, waiting in the doorway of our now nearly empty room.
"Almost." I replied, packing the lasts of my belongings into my suitcase.
We all walked outside, piling our things into the back of the limo that would be taking us home.
I had to admit, the ride home wasn't nearly as thrilling as the ride there.
I fell asleep in Connor's lap during the 45 minute ride home.
"Kadri, we're here." Connor shook my shoulders lightly.
I lifted my head, seeing that Ainsley was still on the verge of waking up too.
"Already?" I asked tiredly, recognizing the beach out of our black tinted window.
"Yes, already." Connor laughed, pushing a few strands of wild hair out of my eyes.
We all stepped out onto the beach sand, where we were dropped off.
We would have to walk home from here, but for most of us, it wasn't that far.
A 10 minute walk at most.
The limo driver unpacked our things, while making small talk about our trip.
Then, we thanked him, and he drove off.
"Well." I said to Connor, draping my hands around his neck.  "I bet you want to carry my suitcase on the walk home." I smiled innocently up at him.
"Well, you lost that bet." He laughed, wrapping his hands around my waist.
"Oh, speaking of bets." Cade said, pulling a few 100 dollar bills out of his pockets.  "You can break up with her."
"Dude, not now!" Connor mumbled under his breath, pushing the bills away.
"What?" I asked confused, slowly pulling my hands away from Connor's neck.
"Arn't you gonna tell her bro?" Cade added.
Connor stayed silent.
"We made a bet that if Connor could treat you like his girlfriend all week, we'd pitch in to help him buy his car." Cade admitted.
"Connor is this true?" I asked nervously.
"Kadri, it's not what you think." Connor shook his head.
"So this was all just a stupid bet?!" I spat, pushing his hands off of my waist.
"It started out like that, but Kadri, it's not like that anymo-"
"Get away from me!" I broke out into sobs, sprinting away back towards my house.
I left my suitcase behind, not caring if I ever got it back.
Steamy tears streamed down my face as I rushed through the front door.
It didn't matter though, no one was home anyways.
I rushed up to my room, collapsing onto the floor.
"No!" I screamed in sobs, pulling at my hair.
I sat there crying for two hours, not knowing what to do with myself, not knowing how to make the pain stop.
I couldn't take it anymore.
I thought about finding the razor, but I knew that no amount of cuts would take away the pain of fake love.
As I set it back into the cabinet, I saw a half bottle of pills tipped over in the back.
I then realized that they hadn't been touched since Connor first broke up with me, now 4 months ago.
I picked it up, walking to my room.
I poured them out onto the floor and picked one up.
I stared at it for a moment, then shoved it down the back of my throat.
1 turned into 2, 2 turned into 3, and 3 turned into countless more numbers.
As I began to grow dizzy, I knew that this was truely it.
It all ends here, I told myself.
I knew I couldn't leave without an explanation though, without saying goodbye.
I pulled out the huge pile of 'Dear Connor' letters that were hidden under my bed.
Then, I grabbed a clean sheet of paper.
'Dear Connor.' I wrote at the top.
I hoped that he would get to read it, eventually.
When I finished, I layed them all next to my bed, placing the most recent one on top.
I then turned off the lights, and tucked myself into bed as I bagan to grow more and more dizzy.
"Goodbye." I whispered, placing my hand over my heart.
The heart that would never beat again.
 Sorry guys, only one chapter today, I have to babysit..♥  Proud to say I probably aced my Soc final today.(: 1 down, 3 to go.(:  School's done on tuesday for us, anyone else?  As hard as it is to believe, the next chapter in this story will be the last..can't believe it's almost over:(..I don't know when the next chapter will be up, maybe Sunday?..♥ Great job with the faves again guys(: ♥
