finished all my work at around 10 o'clock. It felt kind of good
to be honest. Then I had to plan my party.
'What is the fastest way to spread information?' I thought.
'Facebook.'
I made my status "Party at my place. Friday 9:00. Be
there." 69 people liked it. This was going to be a big
party.
After school the next day, people were ringing my bell like
crazy. Tons of people showed up. This one boy brought
beer. I didn't really aprove but he insisted.
Eventually, about 80 people were at my house. There was loud
music and decorations. It was cool. The boy who brought beer came
up to me with a bottle in hand.
"Hey," he said flirtatiously.
"Hi," I said, twirling my hair and batting my
eyes.
"You look tense," he said.
"I am."
He wrapped his arm around me as he said, "Vent to me. What
happened?"
"I quess you could call it a bad break up,"
I answered.
"Here," he said, handing me the bottle of beer,
"You need it."
"Uhh, no. Thanks but no."
"Just take it! It's one beer. You'll be fine."
"Oh...okay."
"Oh jeez! I
didn't catch your name..."
"Oh!" I said, "I'm Nicole. And you are?"
"Robert. But call me Rob."
"Okay, Rob. Let's dance."
