Always Have Always Will Chapter: 6 (part 2)
Natalie’s POV
NO!...”Jaysn” I whisper. How did he know that this was our song? Well not technically our song but I always sung it when I thought of him. Kelsy! I turn and run back into my house; leaving Jaysn so speechless he stops singing and yells for me but doesn’t come up.
As I walk past Kelsy she looks kinda of sad, astonished, guilty, and scared of my reaction all at once. I continue running through my room, and head to the hallway. Even Kelsy tugging on my clothes and yelling, “Stop NAT! Just slow down. I didn’t mean to tell him anything you just needed help with this situation please don’t be mad at him. Or me for that matter! And even if you are mad just take it all out on me. He’s a good guy you know that more than me!!” she keeps pulling on me. I run straight down the hallway and the grand staircase, almost knocking Debby down with a flower pot in her hands. “Sorry!” I yell out to her as I pass. She just looks bewildered so she just decides to smile.
As I make my way to the door I don’t even bother with the automatic button to open it I just pull it open myself and go running out of the house onto the porch to see Jaysn walking down the beginning of my driveway.
“JAYSN!!” I shout. He turns to look at me a hurt and surprised expression on his face. This is when I realize it has started to rain. And not just a soft sprinkle I mean POUR! But I don’t care I run out to Jaysn in my bare feet, and ya know what happens? I jump up into his arms, which makes him take a few steps back, and I kiss my best friend right there, on the mouth, in the pouring rain. I guess every girl needs a kiss in the rain eh???
I slightly pull away from the kiss after about 10 seconds and stair into his beautiful icy blue eyes that just melt my heart. “I love you Jaysn. I don’t like you, like I said. That’s nothing compared to what I really feel. I’ve loved you for so long I just can’t believe you would ever feel the same. To be truthful yes I was hurt when you said you didn’t like me back, but I could understand why you would ever say something like that.”
I just now notice that we are both crying, which is kind of hard to because of all the rain. “I love you too Nat. What I said earlier, I didn’t mean it my mind just went empty when you told me you felt the same way. I have loved you since I first laid my normal eyes on your exotic two colored ones.” Our smiles widen.
“Guys!! I think you should come back inside!!! It’s pouring and you’ll get sick then get each other even sicker!” Kelsy yells at us. We just keep smiling while he sets me back down on the wet ground, only to pick me back up again so I don’t get too wet. He then puts me on his back and gives me a piggy-back ride like we used to when we were little because he has always been so much taller than me, I mean now he’s 5-7 or so inches taller.
When we finally get inside he sets me down for sure. “Well Jaysn I guess our plan worked perfectly .” Kelsy said with a smirk on her face.
I look puzzledly between the two of them and ask “What do you guys mean ‘plan’?” I laugh nervously.
“Oh that?” Jaysn said slightly laughing while wrapping him arms around my waist.
“YES! That haha. What was your plan?”
“Um…” Jaysn starts but Kelsy cuts him short “Our plan was to get you to forgive him, and for him to tell you what he meant to say earlier.”
Jaysn looks at me with asuring eyes. “Please don’t me bad with Kelsy I wanted to truthfully tell you what I tried to tell you, and I needed her help.”
“I’m not mad. I think it was the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me. Normally they just want my body but now I know you’re not like that. :) You do truly love me for me.” I smile up at him while he smiled down.
“Ok lovey dovey birds. You done yet?? I wanna get back to my movie.” Kelsy said a little loudly.
Jaysn blushed. Damn he was hot when he did that even though it’s not very manly. I turn to him ignoring her question partially. “Are you gonna do what you said you’d do?” He looks confused. “When you were singing you said ‘stay with me tonight’, well I can’t leave the house but I’m sure your mom won’t mind if you stay over you’ve done it enough times before.”
He looks a little unsure. “That was before we were going out.” My face lights up. “I didn’t know we were going out.” I said hopefully. “Well then, Natalie Marie Cancer will you be my girlfriend?” He asked with yet another smile coming across his face.
“Yes!” I nod and jump up into his arms again. “Well then, let us go up stairs!”
OK that's it for tonight it's 1:45 AM here im tired...
