The Principles office?
Trust me, I have been here plenty of times.
“Cher, You have been late to school 26 times in the past month!” Miss Davis shouts, “The other 4 days were days you have been absent!”
I grin, fiddling with my new piercing I had got in my tragus.
“Is it a record, miss?” I ask, “I mean, that is pretty impressive.”
“You’re a nuisance, Cher, you really are, and if you’re not careful, I may just expel you from this school.”
“That’s cool too” I say, but really I feel a bit disappointed, because I like my friends here in school.
“I’m giving you one more chance, Cher” Miss Davis sighs, “You have potential, and I know you’re quite a bright girl”
I wriggle in my seat, my cheeks blushing scarlet.
It was true, when I was in Middle School I was top of the class, and I got moved up into a higher grade, but hey, that’s another story.
“You’re a sophomore now, Cher, it’s time to think about your future, don’t you think?” Miss Davis asks
The bell rings for lunch, and I get up to leave.
I grin.
“No problem, Miss” I say, and stick out my tongue, revealing a black stud.
