(Reegan's POV)
I set my alarm for 7:30 to make sure I had plenty of time to get ready to meet up with Liam at the beach. His words just kept running through my head, that husky voice, and the British acent that drives me crazy. "Reegan, I gotta go but when will I see you again?" He asked me with the slightest bit of hope glimmering in his eyes. "Soon Li, hopefully soon." is all I replied. Then, his face just light up like a christmas tree. "We can meet here tomorrow morning! Before the beach gets too crowded with crazy fans and paps. Its a brilliant plan. Don't you think? I think it is. Oh god, I'm rambling. I'm sorry, I just get nervous around you." He just kept mumbling to himself. I put my hand on his shoulder and told him "Calm down Li. Meeting here tomorrow morning is perfect. Around 9? But YOU get nervous around ME?? Thats crazy Liam. You're the famous celbrity. I should be nervous around you." But to be quite honest I'm not really nervous
around Liam anymore. I guess I'm just an outgoing person and I'm pretty confident so I guess I don't get nervous. He chuckled and smiled that gorgeous smile of his "Alright" he finally said. "9 o'clock it is then," and walked to meet his friends.
So back to reality. I picked up my phone and called Lucy. "Luc! I'm freaking out here. I don't know what to wear or how to do my hair. I need your help. please.?" I pleaded. "Really Reg, you wake me up at 8 in the morning for this?" she mumbled. Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. "Alright Reg, I'll be there in 15." Lucy is a lifesaver. When she pulls up I drag her out of her car and inside up to my room. She curls my hair and aplies my make-up. She won't let me see until it's finished completely. She then picks out a pair of jean shorts and a pink tanktop with flowers all over it for me to wear. I put them on and turn around, I would have to say I look perfect. I hug her and squeal. "Thank you soo much Luc! I love you!" she hugged me back and laughed. I checked the time to see that it was 8:45. Holy crap, I better get going. I grab my phone and my wallet and head out the door.
When I pulled up to the beach I could see him sitting in the sand with his swim trunks on. I snuck up behind him and covered his eyes. "Guess who." I whispered. He jumped a little and then turned around and smiled, to reveal his usually gorgeous light brown eyes all red and puffy. "What's wrong?" I asked nervously. "It's Danielle. We broke up a few days ago and... she was.. on her way home and...." is all he could get out before he started to cry. I put my arm around his shoulder and hugged him tight. "and what happend?" "She got into a car accident." He sobbed. "OhMyGod, is she okay?" "She's on life support. and its all my fault." he whispered. "Liam you can't blame this on yourself." "Yes I can! If I didnt talk her last night, she never would have gone to the bar and wouldn't have gotten hit on the way home! Its all my fault and I'm never going to be able to change that. If she dies.. it will all be on me, and I'll never be able to live with myself." He stayed leaning on me for a little while and then slowly stopped crying and sat up. "I'm sorry, I'm totally ruining this right now, I'll just deal with this whole thing later." he said with a chuckle. God he was so cute. "Lets go for a walk is all I said.
(Liam's POV)
I was woken up by a whinning Louis. "Li Li. Please get up I gotta tell you something. Li Li? Li Li! Gooodness! LIAMM!! WAKE UP!" Louis screamed in my ear. "What do you want Louis?" I groaned. "I have your phone. It was ringing and I answered it. Here. It's Danielle's mom." I took the phone and sat up when Louis left the room I answered. "Hello, Mrs. Peazer?" I could hear her sobbing. "Mrs. Peazer? Calm down, what's wrong? Is Dani okay?" She slowly starting talking. "Last night.. Dani hang up the phone with someone. I'm not sure who it was, I'm thinking it was you, but she was extremely upset, and said she was going to meet Gabby at the local bar. On her way home, she was driving through an intersection and a tractor trailer hit her from the driver side. They claimed that the brakes were out and he was honking his horn to try to get her to stop." At this point I was sobbing with her. "She is in the hospital up in the ICU." Intensive
Care?! This is all my fault. I said a quick prayer and continued listening. "She is on life support right now and they're not sure how long she's going to make it." "I'm so sorry Mrs. Peazer.. Yes, I am the one that was on the phone with her last night, but please call me if anything happens." "okay honey, I will." and with that she hung up.
I quickly got ready and headed to the beach, noticing that my eyes were all red and puffy. Oh well. When I got there I saw that Reegan wasn't there so I sat in the sand. She came up behind me and when I turned around she saw my eyes. She asked what was wrong and I told her, and she told me I can't blame myself. Thank God she was here to help me. After, all she said was "let's go for a walk." I nodded my head and helped her up, and we started down the beach, holding hands. We stayed like that the whole time. It felt so right, yet it felt so wrong because of Danielle. I honestly don't know what to do anymore. I would do anything for Danielle but she was really distant before the break-up.. oh well. Reegan interupted my train of thought by saying, "We walked all the way down the beach and back up the beach, what should we do now?" "I have an idea." I said while winking and grinning at her. Reegan just looked at me clearly confused. I
walked over to her and since she was only in her bathing suit, I picked her up, bridal style, and carried her down to the water. She was screaming and kicking, begging me not to throw her in, but I didn't listen. I walked out, to where I thought it would be deep enough, and threw her out a little more to the side. I waited for her to come back up and yell at me, but she didn't come back up..
