chapter1 /Brae's POV.
Tears swelled in my eyes, as I could feel my throat starting to tighten. I faked a perfectly believable smile at the cause of the tears that almost began to trickle down my left cheek. Him.
I watched him pass me in the hallway, grasping her waist with his right arm. Why was he with her? A girl who only cared about how smudged her five pounds of her Covergirl makeup was getting. I grimaced, while I motionlessly watched them... together. What did he see in her? Was it the way she obnoxiously twirled her perfectly curled blond hair? Was it the way she dressed, in her slutty high waisted skirt and short top? Was it a scam? Was she playing him?
I gasped. My body had soon slammed up against the row of lockers.
“What the hell?” I asked taken aback.
“Awww, Brae finally snapped back to reality. What are you, jealous of me and your used to be boo, Ian? Well he’s mine now, and there’s nothing you can or will do to ever get between us.” I looked up. There I was, face to face with the girl I envied most, Aubrey Renolds.
“B*tch.” I pushed by the anerexic jerk. I broke out into a run. As I began to sprint down the halls , I caught a glimpse of Ian. His face flush with guilt. He had been standing with the guys. The ones I used to hang out with when everything was great. When everything was perfect. When I didn’t give a sh*t about society. But now? Now, everythings hit me. Now, I can’t be myself anymore. I heard a faint shout, “Brae, wait!”
“No!” I cried. Only once, did I think about turning back. I still carried hope that maybe, maybe everything could be the same again.
My body hit the ground- hard. The early morning light shone through my window.
“Damn, does it ever end?” I mumbled to myself. I was on the ground, next to my bed. Suddenly, my phone began to vibrate. *6 new messages* I rolled my eyes. All of the messages were people from school, calling me either a b*tch, telling me I’ll never be good enough, or asking me if I was still running. My eyes stopped at the name Andrew.
Andrew: Are you okay?
My eyes lit up, but not in joy. I’ve known Andrew ever since Ian and I had been close. He was like a brother to me. The sarcastic lacrosse player that everyone wanted to be around. But after what happened between me and Ian, we hadn’t talked since. So why now? Why would he be looking out for me now?oo Please give me feedback, and fave? xx.

My family and friends, they were all at the church. Everyone that I had ever known, was waiting for me to walk down the isle and marry the boy that I have loved my entire life. And me? I was a wreck.
"What if something goes wrong?" I ask, turning to face my mom.
"Sweetie, I never thought I would be giving my baby girl up to a man at sixteen. But here we are. And do you honestly think I would have let it get this far, if I didn't know this was going to work out?" she asked me with a gentle smile.
As always, my mom knew exactly what to say. I turned and looked at myself in the mirror, preparing myself for the moment I had always known would happen.
"I'm ready." I told her.
The music began to play, that was my cue. I walked down the isle, slowly with my mom on my arm. Everyone who was anyone in town, and at school, my family, Ace's family, they were all there. In any other situation I would have been terrified. But I wasn't, because Ace, my Ace was waiting for me at the end of the isle. And he was looking at me, with the biggest smile I had seen in my life.
I reached the altar, and the ceremony began. I will be honest with you it is all kind of a blur. Everything up to the vows that is anyway. Now those, I could tell you anytime and any place. My vows were simple, and sweet, reminding him how much I had loved him, still loved him, and always would love him. But his vows, they were incredible.
"Zandria, I have loved you since I laid eyes on you. I have never seen anyone more beautiful in my life. I know we are young, and people probably think we are foolish. But I nearly lost you three months ago in an accident, and I knew I could not live with never having been able to call you my wife. So this is my promise to you. I will love you always and forever, as I have promised to do every night since we began living together at the age of three. I proposed to you when we were seven. I declared my love for you in public on several occassions, I have never so much as willingly kissed a girl who was not you, and I can promise you that will never change. The only other girl I will ever love as much as you will be our daughter. Zandria I cannot promise you the perfect life you deserve, only that I will always be a part of it, and you my dear, you I will love. Always."
After the vows we were pronounced man and wife, and kissed for the first time as a married couple. And I will not lie. It may have been the best kiss we had ever shared.

I am trying hard to contact all my readers to make sure they see this <3 So I owe you one massive apology. I haven't written in forever and it's so not fair to you guys- my wonderful and loyal readers. Excuses are just excuses and I will not waste your time with mine.... So this is what I had planned on for the last real chapter and then an epilogue, let me know what you think?
And I am so very sorry that this took so long <3

Part 5 / Jace's POV
Brenna just walked away. On one of the best moments I’ve had all summer. Even though she said we were ‘cool,’ I could tell by the shake in her voice, that she was unsure of the decision she had made.
I snapped out of my thoughts, and remembered that one of my old friends from Pennsylvania was supposed to visit for the summer.
My phone lit up in my hand, Leo.
“Hey man, California is looking pretty cool already. I just met some really cute girl at the beach.” I laughed. Leo’s always been the obsessed flirt. I’ve never really seen him with a girl, that actually made him happy. He usually just got with girls out of amusement. I texted back. “Cool man, who is she?”
Within seconds, he replied.
“I don’t know. She was hanging out with some girl named Cassidy.”
Oh, no no no no.
That girl could be Brenna

I’m just an immature little kid, I’m a 5 year old trapped in a 13-year-old girls body. I still drink chocolate milk with a straw &get yelled at for making bubbles.
I sing when I walk down the street. I’m always the first one to run out to the ice cream man in the summer time. I still dance to the sound of the shower. I sleep with my blankie every night . My rubber ducky still keeps me company in the shower. When it rains, I run outside in the mud. Catching lighting bugs outside marks the start of the summer for me& my sister. Low tank tops& skimpy outfits don’t interest me, I’d rather be wearing my sponge-bob square pants t-shirt.
Growing up is for nerds.<3
