Dear Robbie,
Eleven years ago when I was four you left for New York , you promised you would be me and Nathan back a penny from the ground of the Big Apple. You were only 24 then, fresh out of college with a girlfriend and a whole life ahead. You could charm anyone with the blue eyes and blonde hair you had.
Sometimes I wish it was differant, sometimes I would think that maybe if there was the off chance that you were out for coffee or slept in because your alarm clock didn't go off. We kept waiting for a call, but everyone was already crying. Even though I was only four I knew what happened. As I got older every year I was reminded of it. But today, it's differant. We were going through the luggage that hasn't been touched for eleven years. And at the bottom I found your promise, two pennies in a plastic bag with the worlds sprawled across. "For Nathan and Caitlin New York 2001" Robbie, I love you and if I could have changed anything in the world it would have been that those people never got on that plane.
Follow your bliss,
CaitieBear.
