It really stinks to know that you're the no good friend. That everyone around you can do something really well and have it as a hobby and you just can't do anything right. Just to know that you have nothing good about you, that you have no talent, hits your heart really hard and it hurts.

- Hugging someone after you haven't seen them in a long time
- Passing a test that you thought you were going to fail

- Changing into sweatpants after a long day

Have you ever been so scared that you can't eat or sleep? All you can think about is what's going to happen and the only thing you can do is little compared to what should be done. Because I'm terrified. And I don't know if I'll sleep tonight. I just want it all to be okay, I wish I could make it okay, but I can barely do anything and it blows.

Music makes the best of everyone come out. It doesn't matter what type of music it is either. If you listen to music, you have your own style and that style is almost a reflection of your personality. Don't worry though, music is an expression of self that no body can take away from you.

That One Night
Part two
After school I walked around the park with Carla for about an hour until Kevin texted me and told me that the party was ready for her. I drove her to her house and once we walked in the door everyone yelled surprise. She had tears in her eyes and she walked around to thank everybody for coming.
I walked over to Kevin, going onto my tippy toes to kiss his lips. "Hi beautiful. This was a great idea for Carla."
I giggled. "I know. I knew she would love it."
The whole party lasted a while. Everyone was enjoying themselves and then Carla stopped the music.
"I just wanted everyone to know this. You all know that Kelsey is my best friend, and for that I want to give her this." She opened her hand and dropped the necklace her grandmother gave her when she was born into it.
"Carls, I can't take this. It means so much to you."
"Please Kels. Take it. You're my best friend."
I smiled and hugged her, thanking her for everything but telling her I had to leave because of school tomorrow. I walked over to Kevin and kissed him goodbye and walked back to my house.
Once I was in my room I finished all of my homework and sat up in bed reading my book. It was almost midnight when I put the book down and finally closed my eyes.
At 4 in the morning my phone started ringing and the name on the screen said Kev.
"Kev, babe. It's 4 in the morning. What's wrong?"
"Kelsey." He chocked out. I knew he had been crying and still was.
"Kevin, What's wrong? What happened?"
"Kelsey. Carla hung herself."
I dropped the phone out of my hand and pulled a sweatshirt over my head. I sprinted so fast out of my house and ran all the way to Carla's. Tears streamed down my face so fast.
I couldn't believe it. Carla can't be dead. She just can't be.

That One Night
Part one
I woke up to my alarm clock buzzed and booming the same song I've woken up to for 3 years now. I rubbed my eyes and yawned looking out my window at the weather. The sun was up and the leaves were blowing across my window. My phone was lit and I looked at my daily morning text from Kevin.
Kev- Good morning beautiful (: I hope you have a good day today and I can't wait to see you tonight at Carla's surprise party! Don't let her see that though (; Okay off to work I go, bye baby girl<3 I love you
I smiled to myself and continued to get dressed for school. Thankfully, it was my senior year of highschool and I won't have to deal with this school for much longer.
For breakfast I grabbed myself a red apple from the basket on my kitchen table and kissed my dad's cheek goodbye.
I only live with my dad because my mom walked away from us when I was little, 6 to be exact. My dad has been an amazing father though. He is the best dad/mom there is.
I got in my car and drove up to Carla's house, beeping in her driveway for her to come out. Her little sister looked out the window of their living room and waved to me. I waved back sticking my tongue out at her and she laughed.
Carla walked out to my car in her sundress I bought her back in the summer. "Happy 18th birthday to the best friend in the world!" I reached over to the passenger seat and gave Carla a huge hug.
"Thanks girl! Are we still going out after school for our walk in the park?"
"Of course we are!" It was my job to distract Carla so everyone else could set up for the party.
"Awesome! I'm really looking forward to it."
We got to school and everyone in the hall way was wishing Carla a happy birthday and telling her how fabulous she looked in her dress. "This is awesome!"
She gave me a huge smiled before walking down the hall way to her locker.

That One Night
Prologue
Carla and I were sitting on my balcony outside of my room, writing and drawing, listening to our favorite music. "Kelsey?"
"Yeah, Carls?"
"Do you think that when people die they go somewhere?"
"I guess so. I mean, something happens to them. Something has to happen to their soul. Why do you ask?"
"I don't know. I'm just wondering if you thought so."
I shook my head and looked back down at my drawing. I was drawing Carla with the moon light in the backround. It was going to be part of her birthday present for tomorrow.
"Kelsey?"
"Yeah?"
"You really like Kevin, right?"
Kevin was her older brother which I had been dating for about a year now.
"Yeah, a lot."
"Can you take good care of him for me?"
"What?"
"I just don't want to see him hurt. Just promise me no matter what you'll take good care of him."
"Yeah Carls, I always will. I promise."
"Okay, good. Well I should get going, my mom will be mad at me if I get home at midnight again."
"Okay, bye Carla. I love you."
"I love you too Kelsey."
Carla climbed down my ladder and started her walk down the street to her house. I watched her down, making sure she was safe. She arrived at her house 5 doors down an waved to me and I waved back smiling.
My body flopped onto my bed, feeling the warmth of my blankets around me. I grabbed Kevin's sweatshirt that I sleep with everynight and hugged it close to my body. I switched my bed side lamp off and fell into my deep sleep. School was going to be rough tomorrow.
