Part one
I woke up to my alarm clock buzzed and
booming the same song I've woken up to for 3 years now. I
rubbed my eyes and yawned looking out my window at the weather.
The sun was up and the leaves were blowing across my window. My
phone was lit and I looked at my daily morning text from
Kevin.
Kev- Good morning beautiful (: I hope you have a good
day today and I can't wait to see you tonight at
Carla's surprise party! Don't let her see that though
(; Okay off to work I go, bye baby girl<3 I love
you
I smiled to myself and continued to get dressed for school.
Thankfully, it was my senior year of highschool and I won't
have to deal with this school for much longer.
For breakfast I grabbed myself a red apple from the basket on
my kitchen table and kissed my dad's cheek
goodbye.
I only live with my dad because my mom walked away from us when
I was little, 6 to be exact. My dad has been an amazing father
though. He is the best dad/mom there is.
I got in my car and drove up to Carla's house, beeping in
her driveway for her to come out. Her little sister looked out
the window of their living room and waved to me. I waved back
sticking my tongue out at her and she laughed.
Carla walked out to my car in her sundress I bought her back in
the summer. "Happy 18th birthday to the best friend in the
world!" I reached over to the passenger seat and gave
Carla a huge hug.
"Thanks girl! Are we still going out after school for our
walk in the park?"
"Of course we are!" It was my job to distract Carla
so everyone else could set up for the party.
"Awesome! I'm really looking forward to it."
We got to school and everyone in the hall way was wishing Carla
a happy birthday and telling her how fabulous she looked in her
dress. "This is awesome!"
She gave me a huge smiled before walking down the hall way to
her locker.
