Just One Touch
Lauren's POV
Chapter one
I woke up and laughed. It's finally the day the guys go on tv. I jumped out of bed, glanced at the clock, okay six, another hour. I wiggled into my booty shorts, threw on my long sleeve grey shirt, and put on my black and red stripped scarff. I was so happy I was aloud to go with them. I ran into the livingroom. And because I live with Liam, I walked in with Shelby sitting at the table gathering her thngs. She was leaving, I caught that much.
I smiled at Liam and nodded at Shelby. "Bye Shelby!" She waved at me and walked out. I sat on the couch. "Liaaaam..." He chuckled and handed me a plate of pancakes. "You know me so well!" I ate them and lied there. Niall walked in. "NIALLER!!!" I tackled him, knocking him to the floor. We both stood up laughing. "Morning Nialler!" He smiled
"Good morning Lauren." He winked at me and looked at Liam. "Liam, I need to talk to you...alone...NOW!" I got worried and they both walked into Liam's room. I started playing the Lazer Quest. I was shaking at this point. Niall looked really worried when he said that. Is he mad at me?! Cause...deep down...I kinda like him. Him and Liam walked out, neither saying anything at all. I put down the game. It was silent for a while.
"Niall, Liam, is everything alright?" They both nodded and no one had aything to say. When my phone went off it was More Than This. I answered the call. "What is it mum?" She told me that I'm i huge trouble. Apprently the boys heard it cause they laughed. "WHY?!" She was going on about how she doesn't like how I didn't tell her I moved in with a boy. "Mum! He's a nice guy! You wanna talk to him?!" I gave Liam a sorry face as I handed off the phone. He kept stuttering over my mum.
"I'm so--,No ma'am, I wi--, plea--, Ms--, she wo--, I'll ma--," Niall and I were laughing. "Okay, I know you're worried about your daughter, but I assure you nothing is gonna happen." I couldn't make out what she said. "Uhmm...no....I have a girlfriend...she's still single...and I would NEVER cheat...ma'am, you do NOT have to worry about THAT." I bit my lip and laughed. Niall was holding it back, we both knew what she was thinking. I heard her ask if there was another boy around. "Yeah, his name is Niall, they are ONLY friends though..." She yelled something and hung up.
"Sorry about my mum...she's a...well, she's protective." Liam rolled his eyes.
"I feel bad for you Liam, she thinks your...sleeping with her!"
I blushed. "Yeah, don't mean to burst your bubble Niall." I looked at the text my mom just sent me. "She doesn't think that anymore. She thinks that I'm...sleeping with you..." He got wide eyed and I looked down.
"We better be going guys!" Liam yelled. We all ran outside and jumped into the car. "Thank god Lauren has today off! No one else does!" We were driving down the road singing Boyfriend. When we pulled up I saw a car like my mums. I'm just paranoid. We walked in and they got set up. I was sitting backstage and watching. Everyone drove themselves cause the bus broke down last week. I wasn't doing much at this point. They started airing live and I was watching close it was my mum! I was freaking out! She won't see me.
Halfway through the show I watched Niall stand up. "Okay so, there is this girl backstage, her name is Lauren." My heart skipped a beat. The host grinned. "Then why don't we bring her out here?" Louis and Harry ran back and grabbed my arms. I slowly walked out, my heart was beating so fast. I sat on the couch next to Niall. The host (CAN'T REMEBER HIS NAME AGHHH, so choose anyone you want) looked at Niall. "So, what's the update on you two?" I looked at Niall, I wan not going to talk.
"She's just a really great friend of mine." Louis whispered. "He's lying, he fancies her!" I blushed really bad. Niall stood up infront of me. "Lauren...would you be my girlfriend?" I nodded and jumped into his arms. Everyone clapped. I looked at my mum in the crowed. "Mum, this sure as hell wasn't planned!" I forgot this was her favorite show. That's why she was here! Louis purposly took up more room on the couch so I couldn't sit. I stood there and Niall picked me up and set me on his lap. I bit my lip and they finished the interveiw. I was asked a few questions too.
On our way home we faught about who was gonna sit where. Liam said he wanted me to sit by Niall, I told him I would sit in back, it ended up Niall and I sat in back while Liam drove. I got a text from my mum saying I'm stupid for saying yes. I rolled my eyes. She can NEVER approve!
When we got home I was the last in the bulding I ran inside. Niall went home and Liam was in the kitchen. I ran into my room and screamed into my pillow. Suly walked into my room. "Hey, congrats!" I could tell she was a bit hurt, but still happy. I nodded.
"Yup, hey if it bothers you..." She cut me off.
" No, it's fine really. No matter who he picked, someone would be upset right? I'm happy for you, really! I have to go, see you tomorow..." She walked out and I was just sitting there. I started dozing off. I got e text from Niall saying. "Wanna get something for lunch? if so see you then Love." I smiled and fell asleep.
