    Makeup Tip #12
    [simple smokey eye]
To begin, prep your eyelids with a primer. Then, apply your eyeliner. If you're going for a typical black, brown, or grey smokey eye, apply liners in that color above the upper lash line, drawing the line thicker in the middle of the eye. If you're going for a more vibrant smokey eye, line eyes with purple, blue, or a deep green liner. Blend in the liner on your bottom lash line with a smudge brush or your finger. Apply a shimmery shadow over your lids to your browbone. Now that you have your base and eyeliner on, you need a darker eyeshadow shade. Using an eyeshadow brush, blend in color starting from your lash line and moving up. Stop the color at the crease and blend into it. Finally, curl your eyelashes and coat them with mascara.

    Makeup Tip #11
    [preventing oily skin]
Start with a deep cleanser that washes away dirt, oil, and fights bacteria, then use a gentle toner on your clean skin. Try foundations and powders that help control oily shine without causing dryness to skin. Remember to avoid touching your face throughout the day! Oils from your hands can get transfered from your palms or fingers without you even realizing. Also, try to change your pillowcases more often. Oils can get trapped in the cloth and irritate your skin. The most important thing to remember if you want to prevent oily skin, is to stay consistant!

    Makeup Tip #10
    [gorgeous holiday eye makeup]
Begin by creating a base, which is priming the eyelids and dabbing concealer under your eyes to reduce dark circles. Make sure it stays put by dusting on a layer of loose powder. Blend a silvery eyeshadow across your lids. Then take the eyeshadow underneath the eye, and blend it into the lower lashes. Work a black pencil eyeliner across the bottom and top lash lines, as well as the upper and lower rims. Apply your black mascara next. The next step is to create the glittery holiday eye you are aiming for. There are two options: a) Dip a flat eyeshadow brush into your choice color of glitter glue, preferably silver or gold. Pat it onto the eyelid. or, b) Take your choice color of shimmer shadow, and pat that onto your eyelid. And there you go, a glitter smokey eye perfect for the holidays!

    Makeup Tip #9
    [holiday makeup]
A soft golden glow is perfect for the season, and especially the holiday's. The best way to achieve this look is to play with the eyes and leave cheeks and lips radiant. Start off with dark brown eyeliner, and blend with a smudge brush. Sweep your eyelids with a coppery brown or bronze eyeshadow. Finish your eyes with a light golden shimmer shaddow where the corners of your eyes meet. Keep your lips soft with a sheer color or gloss. Finish off your look with bronzer or a peachy blush on the apples of your cheeks.

Using a tweezer, dip the base end of the lashes into the glue provided, then place the lashes as close to the baseline as you can. Press gently, but firmly, with something blunt. Hold for approximately 5 seconds to give the glue time to hold. Once dry, apply a dark eyeliner to blend the line of your fake lashes, and then finish off with a coat of mascara.

    Makeup Tip #6
    [applying liquid liner]
To begin with, prime your eyelids with a primer (this step is optional, but always recommended). Apply your eyeshadow if you will be wearing any, but hold off on the mascara. Take your liquid liner brush, and draw small dashes or dots as close to your upper lashes as possible. Then go over your lashes in one continuous line. Do your best not to blink while you wait for it to dry! It should only take several seconds.
