To answer your question on that sleep paralysis quote, no in insidious it was astral projection, which is when your soul can leave your body, which causes difficulty trying to get it back in, sleep paralysis is just paralyzing fear that makes you hallucinate and the first time it happened to me, I cried for like three hours because I swear to God it felt real, like I saw a person crawling towards me and he was the scariest thing ever. personally I'd rather go through Insidious than have sleep paralysis again...
