Dear Diary...
Chapter 2
Dear diary,
I can't believe Jake found someone else :(

I woke up the next morning with tear stains on my pillow. I felt so heartbroken since yesterday. I got dressed into a navy blue tank with blue shorts. I didn't bother to do my hair, so I let my brunette hair flow down to my shoulders. I recieved a text from Liz:
I'm coming over to ur plc in a little while.
I replied back: ok
It felt like it took a minute for her to get here. We live only a few blocks away from each other. "Hey Avery," Liz said to me. She hugged me. "Are you okay?" She asked me. "Not really," I said while tears were starting to form. "Let's go get some ice cream to cheer you up," She said with a smile. "Okay," I replied. We walked to a ice cream store close to where I live. I got vanilla and Liz got chocolate. It felt like it was 100 degrees out. It was the middle of July. After we were done eating, Liz sugested to go to a carnival. We went on to many different rides. I felt a lot better. I even forgot the "Jake situation" from yesterday. Then suddenly, all of that just changed. "Hey Avery!" I heard a familiar voice shout. It was Jake. "Oh, um hi," I said. "This is my girlfriend Bri." "Hi," Bri said, "you must be Avery. Jake told me a lot about you." I can't believe what I heard. Jake blushed. "So, what do you guys wanna do?" Liz asked. "Lets go to my house since its getting really hot out here," Jake said. We all agreed.

"Lets play truth or dare," Bri said. We all sat on the floor at Jake's room. I wonder how this is going to turn out.
