    You can be the greatest.
    You can be the best.
You can be the king kong bangin' on your chest.
    You can beat the world
    You can beat the war
You could talk to God, go banging on his door.
You can throw your hands up
    You can beat the clock.
    You can move a mountain
    You can break rocks
    You can be a master
    Dont wait for luck
Dedicate yourself and you can find yourself standing in the hall of fame

"To the girl at the table near the back of the library -
I almost asked you what was wrong the first time I saw you crying. Then I saw the book you were reading, and realized that you were crying because of it. And I was interested, because I'd never read anything that moved me that much.
I checked out the book you were reading, and guess what? I cried - just a little - too. That's how it started. Every time I go to the library, you're almost always there, usually with a completley new book. Sometimes you smile, or laugh out loud, and when you do, I check out the book you're reading.
That was it, really, until I realized how gorgeous you are. You're not pretty in the normal kind of way, but god, when you smile, it lights up your face in the best way.
I wish you'd notice me, sitting a few tables away from you, reading the book you were a few days ago. I wish you'd smile at me. I don't have the guts to talk to you. I'm afraid you won't be anything at all like I imagine.
One of these days, I'll work up the courage and ask you about what you're reading. And maybe you'll smile that gorgeous smile and tell me all about it, and then we'll talk about all the books we've read. But until then, thank you for the book recommendations. I love them.
Love, the boy a few table away from yours."

    A girl met a boy
    and she loved him
    more than
    moonlight or the
    starry sky, more
    than the changing
    seasons or
    oversized sweaters
    more than polaroids
    and postcards old
    type writers or
    record players
    concert tickets
    or the things she
    highlighted in her
    favorite novels
    She had come to
    love everything
    he was and
    everything he
    made he into
    Her heart swelled
    as the days passed
    by, she was so
    full of love for
    him and hope that
    she forgot to do
    what many forget
    to do.
    She forgot to
    leave room to
    love herself.

How roll call will go in the future:
Teacher: Welcome to class students! Please say "here" when I call your name.
    Teacher: Albus
    Albus: Here!
    Teacher: Doctor
Doctor: Oh, yes, uhm, hello. I can't talk at the moment, time's gone wibbly. Probably leave a message at the tone or something.
    Teacher: Uhm... okay? Hermione?
Hermione: Yes, I'm here! And when's our first test? I've been studying all summer, and-
Red-headed boy in class: Oh my god, Hermione, shut up!
Teacher: And you must be Ron! Okay then. Primrose.
    Primrose: Here.
Random girl in the back of the class: I VOLUNTEER!!
Teacher: And I see Katniss has made it today, as well. Welcome.
Blonde boy: Katniss is here?! Yes!! Here, Katniss, try this bread I baked this morning!!
Brunette boy: Oh you'd better keep your hands off her! She's my best friend! We go hunting together!
Teacher: Peeta! Gale! Stop fighting over Katniss and sit down!
    Teacher: Rory.
Doctor: Oh, Rory died yesterday, ma'am. But he should be back again tomorrow.
    Teacher: ....oh...kay? And lastly, Draco.
Draco: I'm LAST?! My father will hear about this!

"Rise and shine, baby girl," my dad said opening my curtains.
I squinted for a few seconds and then rolled over onto the floor.
Within 20 minutes I was dressed, fed, and out the door on my way to school.
I walked through the doors, to see that everyone was staring at me.
I turned around to see if there was something behind me, there wasn't.
I then pulled out my cosmetic mirror and checked if something was wrong with my face, there wasn't.
Then finally, someone screamed out to me.
"PRUUUDDDEEEEEE!" And to that, the whole hallway errupted in laughter.
I know I'm a virgin, never had a boyfriend either, but is that wrong?
I'm only 17, and I'm not trying to get pregnant in my school years.
But then again, how did they know this already considering I'm new here?
I went to my first class when the bell rang, not really affected by what had just happened.
"Hey Carly," I said to her as she sat straight up.
She looked at me once and then looked away.
Once it was time for lunch, I went up to the table where I had sat before.
Lauren moved her bag onto the part of the bench where I sat.
"Sorry, this seat is for normal people," she hissed at me.
"N-normal?" I asked, holding my lunch bag in my hand.
"Yes, normal. People who weigh under 115 pounds, people who have SEXX, people who have a pretty face, so you can't sit with us. Not today, not all year, not ever. Sorry new girl, there's a spot for you out by the dumpster, though." The whole cafeteria heard her, and everyone laughed at me once again.
This time, I was embarassed, and on the verge of tears.
I ran out to the bathroom and slammed the stall shut.
"Are you okay?" A girl's voice said from outside the stall.
I recognized this voice... Madeline Kahn?
"Yeah," I said through my trembling face.
"Open the stall, Hali." I did as she said, to see her cat-like eyes staring at me.
"Let me guess, betrayed by so-called 'friends'?" She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.
"How'd you know?" I said wiping my eye.
"Same thing happens every time there's a new girl. One of the guys hits on her, she rejects him, they kick her out of the group and humiliate her. That's what happened to me, too."
    "What?"
"I had a miscarriage in ninth grade, they tourmented me for it forever, literally."
"I'm sorry, about both the baby and the biitches." She let out a little laugh and thanked me.
"How about you come over tonight, my brother's having a party, and then you can sleep over after."
"Thank you so much," I said as she grabbed my hand.
I wiped the small amount of makeup that ran from my face.
We walked out of the bathroom and to our next class.
I had art with all sophomores and Madeline, so it couldn't be that bad.
"Draw a wish that you constantly thrive for to come true," the teacher said, moving her hands around a lot.
She gave us all a piece of blank white paper.
I drew a curved line, and on one side wrote 'before', and the other 'after' to represent losing weight, which apparently I needed to do.
"I love this, great work Goodman," the teacher said as she smiled at me.
The final bell rang and I couldn't be happier to leave school.
I managed to slip out to my car unnoticed, thank god.
"Come over at 8, we'll hang out and pregame a little before the party, okay?" Madeline shouted to me as she walked to her car.
I nodded and smiled at Madeline as I got in my car to go home.

    I'll miss you.
A lot. And when I'm with someone else, I'll remember you. Your smile.
Your sweet voice. Your angry voice. All the times I was sad or you were
sad, or we were sad together. The fights we had, the laughs we shared,
the love we gave each other. You were my first lots of things. My
first love, my first summer romance. I'll never forget you, I promise. Now
I'm all sad, just reminiscing. It'll take a lot to get past you. But I know I
can do it. I can do anything, right? I hope you're okay. I hope you
don't cry over me. I'm not deleting our text messages. So yeah,
    I'll miss you,
    but I'm moving on.

    On a really dark night,
you can see between 1.000 and 1.500 stars,
    and there are millions more
    that haven't been discovered.
It's so easy to think that the world
revolves around you, but all you
have to do is stare up at the night sky
    and realize......
It isn't that way at all.

    thanks for;
calling me beautiful when i felt ugly
cheering me up when i was down
giving me your jacket when i was cold
kissing me like i would die tomorrow
making me laugh after hours of crying
sending sweet texts when i was away
holding me close to cry on your shoulder
walking with me to all my classes
standing up for me when i was in trouble
telling me i didnt need makeup
but most of all i thank you for
teaching me love, good luck with her
