We barely just made it to school on time, but got a warning each.
School had just finished.
"So, how's it going with you and Chris?" Lisa asked secretively.
I winked.
"Secret, shh." I pressed a finger to my lips.
"I'm guessing it's going well." she laughed.
Chris ran up to me.
"Let's go home." he smiled.
"Uhh...well, Lisa and I were sorta wanting to go home together but-"
"Just go." Lisa commented.
"She's the boss." Chris decided.
"Well, okay...I'll see you later." I assured.
"Bye."
We both gave eachother a quick hug, and Chris and I started walking.
"So, she seems nice. Lisa, I mean." he stated.
"She is. I like her." I smiled.

I woke up, to find I was in Chris' arms.
Then I remembered last night.
"What time is it?" I murmured.
Chris woke up now, and rubbed him eyes.
"7:42?!" he yelled.
"Sh*t. Sh*t. Sh*t." I mumbled.
"Just brush your teeth in the bathroom. I think my mom has a hairbrush stored away somewhere, and grab a breakfast bar or something."
Chris said.
I smiled. He was being considerate.
"Okay."
We ran outside, and jumped into his Red Ferrari.
"Let's go, babe." he teased, and kissed me on the forehead.
I nodded. "Good thing we checked the time."
He winked. "All your doing, baby."
The wind brushed past my cheek. Love was in the air.

It was 10:30pm by the time we had finished all our homework.
"Woah. That took a lot longer than I would've expected." Chris gasped.
"Course. We're in highschool." I smirked, and rested my head on his shoulder.
"Can we just go to sleep now?" Chris moaned.
"Yeah." I agreed, just as sleepy as him.
With all his left "strength", Chris picked me up and dropped me on the couch gently.
He laid down himself, and he put his arms around me.
"Love you." he moaned.
I laughed quietly.
His sleepy voice was so cute.
"More." I gave him a small smile, and we fell asleep (well, nearly), with my head on Chris' chest and his arms around my body waist-up.
I could feel his heat, and snuggled up to him.
"G'night." he whispered.
I kissed him softly.
"Goodnight, Chris."

Tyler had left, leaving me and Chris all alone.
I walked up to him and hugged him.
Nobody could ever forget that mint-chocolate scent.
"I love you." He whispered.
I loved his voice when he did that. And him.
"I love you more." I laughed, and kissed him the cheek.
"Well, I gotta do my homework." Chris said.
"Well, I'll see you, Chrissy-boo!"I cried.
He laughed. "Ew, don't call me that!"
He turned around.
"Come to my house."
"No." "Yes." "No." "Yes."
"Gosh, fine!" I snapped.
"Well then, come on, beautiful."
I stuck out my tounge at him like a child.
"Whatever, Pearl." I could see him chuckle, even though he was trying extremely hard no to show it.

Tyler's face went all serious.
"I know we've already gone out once but couldn't we try again?"
Tyler was asking me out again.
Chris burst in trhough the door.
"No."
"Woah, Easy there. Pearl hasn't answered yet."
Both of them stared at me.
I smiled and shook my head.
"I'm sorry Tyler, but what we had was a logn time ago. I love Chris now."
Chris smiled.
"Okay. I knew it. And you, you better take care of Pearl properly."
I blushed.
Both of them chuckled softly.
"Roger." Chris agreed.

We arrived at my house.
"Bye, beautiful. See you tomorrow." Chris winked, and gave me a long, smooth kiss.
"See you." I giggled. I turned way so he wouldn't see me blushing.
Chris chuckled lightly and walked down the street.
"Mom? Dad? You there?"
I took off my shoes and started looking.
"SURPRISE!!!!" Tyler shouted, leaping up from the marble table-top in our kitchen.
"Jesus Christ, Tyler! You gave me a heart at-What are you doing here, anyway?" I babbled.
He burst out into laughter.
"Shut it." I snapped.
"Same old Pearl." He laughed, softer this time.
"So....what are you doing here?" I asked again.
"Your Mom and Dad have a date or something, SO, they asked me to babysit you! isn't that
cute?" Tyler mocked.
"Dammit." I cursed lightly under my breath.
Seriously, Mom, Dad?! My EX?!

"P-Pearl? Is that you?" The person asked in a very surprised tone.
"Tyler? Tyler?!" I screamed, and hugged him.
"Well, I have to go. I'll see you later. nice meeting you and...that guy." He winked, and ran off.
"So, who's Mr. Huggable?" Chris asked.
He almost seemed annoyed.
I smiled. I decided to tease him a little. After all, Chris does it all the time.
"Why, jealous?" I smirked.
"Yes." Chris replied with a serious face.
Not what I had expected.
I smiled even more and kissed him for a long time.

"Tyler used to be my boyfriend. I dated him when I was like, I don't know, 14? Don't worr, I
only have eyes for you."

School. Yesterday (Monday) had ended like a fairy tale, and me + Chris walked in.
Truth be told, I was so nervous I might have exploded.
Chris must have sensed that, because he took a hold of my hand and clenched it tightly.
"Don't worry, beautiful." he whispered into my ear.
I gave him a peck on the lips very, very, gently.
"Thank you."
I didn't care if people saw us, they would just have to get used to it.
Chris and me. Me and Chris.
Pearl and Chris. Chris and Pearl.
Me and him. Him and me.
There were a gazillion ways you could put it.
Some girls came rushing up to me.
Lisa, Rhianna, and Sandra.

I stuffed my books and other things into my bag.
I finally shoved my way out of the noisy hall.
Outside the gates was Chris.

I rolled my eyes.

try something less selfish and jerky."

This is why I hated arrogant people like Chris.
Here was a fine example.
He cringed.
"Well, I'm not saying you're not pretty or anything, but, uh, my friends and I were playing
Truth or Dare and someone told me to date the most loser-ish girl in the school and, well,
I ended up picking you..?"
I rolled my eyes. "Typical."
"Anyway, thanks for telling me the truth. Gotta go."
I grabbed my bag and was about to leave the hall when Chris stopped me again.
