We arrived at my house.
"Bye, beautiful. See you tomorrow." Chris winked, and
gave me a long, smooth kiss.
"See you." I giggled. I turned way so he wouldn't
see me blushing.
Chris chuckled lightly and walked down the street.
"Mom? Dad? You there?"
I took off my shoes and started looking.
"SURPRISE!!!!" Tyler shouted, leaping up from the
marble table-top in our kitchen.
"Jesus Christ, Tyler! You gave me a heart at-What are you
doing here, anyway?" I babbled.
He burst out into laughter.
"Shut it." I snapped.
"Same old Pearl." He laughed, softer this time.
"So....what are you doing here?" I asked again.
"Your Mom and Dad have a date or something, SO, they asked
me to babysit you! isn't that
cute?" Tyler mocked.
"Dammit." I cursed lightly under my breath.
