can someone go to jail for only saying it and they dont do it) (cuz i have over 100 people saying it to me, and the cops say they cant do anything until i actually do it)

Look everyone, for a sane person like myself, when I first saw this I thought "this sounds crazy" so I decided to do my research and guess what? I was not proved wrong, in Canada it is a crime and don't get me wrong everyone suicide is a serious thing and our modern society of children should not view it as a joke but they should not be thinking that there is a $25000 and 10+ years for a joke they crack. so please before putting something on the internet please do your research. reply

It is a crime under both South Australian and national law to cyber bully someone in a way that intentionally encourages or causes them to kill themselves. The maximum penalty is life imprisonment.
