hi everyone, just wanted to tell you about meditation!
i know this sounds like a load of spiritualistic junk. but listen
to this... i've suffered from acne since i was nine years old. it
was really getting me down, and i got very frustrated with
myself and with my body. i tried everything. dermatologists,
special skin lotions, medicated face washes - nothing worked,
and to add to that i had very sensitive skin which basically
everything irritated. i read online that meditation helps your
skin to heal and recover from acne, so i decided to give it
a shot. it felt amazing. i felt so at peace with myself for the
first time in years. i started meditating regularly, which cut
down on my stress levels. turned out stress was the reason
my acne was as bad as it was. i stopped putting strong
products on my face that were burning my skin. i stopped
wearing a crap-ton of makeup. my skin eventually began to
improve now that i wasn't freaking out about every little
pimple, and now i basically have completely clear skin
apart from the odd tiny breakout every now and again.
even if you don't suffer from acne, meditation can be a great
way to relax and it gives you an almost euphoric sensation
if you do it right. i'm not advertising or promoting or whatever,
i just wanted to share something that helped me and might
possibly help you. remember, everyone's skin is different,
so this might not be the way forwards for you.
