    Maryam Aswad
    With a body of steel
    armoured with life,
    the heart of a lion
    with a million hearts within,
    the mind of the mathematition
    Einestine’s third clone,
    The cunning of No-Man
on a quest for his life,
    I will scale sky-scrapers
    above mountains of snow
    fist-fighting Hekatonkheires*
    clashing swords with Enyo*
hand in hand with Atropos*, pacing.
    Behind me, civilisations fall
by the hands of the Moonlight Hero.
    The winged hero stands alone
    in the depths of Tartarus
over the crippled body of Oizys*
    hair fluttering behind,
    a powerful stance,
    a silent gaze to silence
    the crackling thunder of Zeus.
But alone with white papers, I remain,
content enough to be watching from afar.
    ***
Hekatonkheires: the Hundred-Handed Ones, giant gods of violent storms and hurricanes.
    Enyo: goddess of destructive war
Atropos: one of the three Fates, the severer of the life thread
Oizys: spirit of woe and misery

"So I guess this is it, itn's it?
There are no more chapters, right? You said we were getting close and that was a while ago."
I stared up into the sky, it was the same old sky there had always been, except for some rainclouds that hadn't been there a few minutes ago. It wasn't raining, but they were still floating up there, grey and dismal.
You begin to ask me something.
"Don't ask me how I know, I just do. Things just feel really final right now, like the downward slope is starting to level out. Eventually... We'll hit the back cover, right?"
I sat down on a bench-had that been there a few minutes ago? It was too hard to tell.
"Did you say yes? I think I heard you. Your voice keeps getting harder to hear."
Thunder rumbled, but... it wasn't like the thunder I'm used to. It sounded like you, and it sounded sad. From one of the clouds a single drop of rain feel on the grainy wood of the bench.
"... You're crying, aren't you? I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. I wish I could change this. I wish I could reach where you are."
Thunder rolled again, and behind it was a voice. Your voice.
"Me? I'll be fine, I thinkg. I don't know if this has ever happened before. I don't really know what happens when you... close the book."
You ask me if I'm afraid.
    And oddly, I"m not.
"No, actually. Because... whatever happens to me when you close the cover... you can always open the book up again, right?" and that's when the answer hits me, the realization jolting me to stand again. "That's it, isn't it? You can open it back up. The words won't change, but I'll still be here. You can meet me all over again, and I can meet you, and everything we have will come back."
It's raining now, and the clouds have merged together, and in them, for the first time, I see you.
You are the most beautiful person I have ever seen in my entire life.
You're crying, but it's quiet, and maybe that was the sound of your tears hitting the paper.
I realize that we don't have a lot of time.
"Listen- before it's all over- I want you to know that everything, all of this... even being over, it was worth it. It was worth it to meet you, to get to know you. Even if when you close that cover and I disappear-it was all worth it. I love you."
You love me too, I know it, I can feel it, just like for a moment I can feel what it would be like to hold your hand.
There is a very long pause, and I realize you're prolonging what has to happen.
    "You can do it."
For the first time, you have to be the hero. You have to close the book so we can keep going.
    "I beleive in you. "
The sky gets darker, slowly, but then it gets light again, and your face is still up in those clouds. You open your mouthand for the first time I HEAR you, not just feel what you're saying or understand you in my own head, your voice comes through the pages in your world and into the reality of mine, and it reverberates and I can hear every little nuance, down to the hitch from your crying.
"I'll never forget you," you say, "I'll come back soon."
    -FIN-
    Plot twist:
"I love you." She whispered softly closing the book. Her fantasy must end and he must die with it no matter how great their love. Tears fell from her eyes, landing upon the hard worn cover of her most beloved book. The book in which lied the love of her life. the book that loved her back. She ached to open it again but she could not continue like this. She must moce on and live a life not in her precious book. Sobs racked her body as she walked to the shelf. It was only for a time, she told herself. That she would come back again and read the story of her love again and that she may fall in love again.
Whipping her eyes she turned toward the door, but froze in her tracks.
A man stood there, concern lining his every feature. She knew that face. It was exactly as she had pictured it, from every line of his jawto the exact color of his eyes. This can't be possible.
"Why are you crying?" Oh, his voice. That was his voice. It was as soothing as she had imagined. Her knees grew weak and her mind went numb. She struggled for words as he approached her slowly, he knelt before her and touched her cheek, worry etched in his gentle movement.
    "What's wrong? Has something happened?"
She could only choke out, "You're real?"

    "An Untold Love Story "
    CHAPTER 1
Why am I here? Not like the whole philospophical thing like why was I placed on this earth and what's my purpose or anything, it's an actual question that I can't seem to bring myself to answer.
It's probably out of my own stupidity that I'm here. I don't even like going to dances, yet here I am. Courtney isn't even paying attention to me, and she's the one who somehow convinced me to go.
Now I'm just standing here by the punch bowl wondering why exactly I agreed to come here when I'm not really participating.
I look out on the dance floor and wonder why everyone else is here. Probably to have a fun night, or maybe their friend convinced them, or maybe even their parents made them go.
It's surprising how many parents try to live through their kids. I'm glad my parents haven't done that, or maybe they have and for my 15 years of life I just haven't been able to notice it.
I'm starting to think going to Homecoming was a bad idea. I don't have anyone to talk to, and the one person I would talk to is out on the dance floor or making out with her boyfriend.
I never did like Courtney's boyfriend. I always thought she could do better. Although I could never like Courtney, so I don't know why I'm saying this. It's not like I could be any better. Courtney isn't really my 'type' anyway. And I hate when people say that, but yet I can't find any other way to describe it.
I throw away my third cup of punch and decide to go look for Courtney, tell her that I'll just call my sister Alex to pick me up now instead of bother Courtney for a ride later. I don't think my sister would mind picking me up.
My sister kind of keeps to herself, and I do too, so it just works out. She picks me up if I need to be picked up, and she drives me places I need to be or want to go. In return I pay for her movie ticket once in a while. I don't see how it's a fair exchange but she seems to appreciate it.
I walk into the lobby outside of the gym where they hold the dances, and there's at least five couples making out. I don't mind that they're there, and I guess they don't mind me since they never seem to notice that I'm there. It's funny how things work out like that sometimes.
I notice that one couple has a girl with unmistakeable golden brown hair. It's Courtney.
I walk up to her and tap her on the shoulder to tell her that she doesn't have to bother giving me a ride anymore, that I'd call Alex to pick me up.
She tells me to wait right there, that she's got a surprise, and dissappears around the corner of the hallway, leaving her boyfriend look awful confused. But I just wait there, Courtney always seems to have the best surprises, even when they aren't even reallly that great.
I can see Courtney coming around the corner with someone following right behind her.
"Brad," she says, "I have someone I want you to meet."
And then she introduces me to you.
    -------------
What do you think? It's the book I was talking about writing where the person in the book falls in love with the reader. It's written from a boy's perspective, so this one is for girls I guess. If I finish this one in good time then maybe I'll write one for the boys. Please let me know what you think of the beginning and if you want me to continue to post it on here! Thanks a bunch! :)

    Chapter 1.
    THREE MONTHS EARLIER.
    i) We were going to a party tonight. It would probably be the last big one this summer, so obviously we had to go shopping, at least that’s what Reilly told us as she dragged us off to the mall. Payge and I didn’t plan on buying anything, but Reilly wanted us to try things on with her anyways.
We were in our fourth store of the day, and Payge and I were done trying things on. “Are you almost ready in there?” Payge called to Reilly. “Almost, I just have one last thing!” Payge and I exchanged a look. I shrugged my shoulders and decided to change the topic.
Payge and I weren’t really friends at the beginning of the summer, she was more of Reilly’s friend, but with countless trips to the mall like this one we became close pretty quickly. “Are a lot of people going tonight?” I asked Payge. “I don’t know… I mean it’s Tabor we’re talking about, he’d invite the entire school if he could.” I laughed, she was right. Tabor had a surprising amount of friends considering he only moved here in March. He’s surprisingly social…probably knows the entire school by now, and they all know him. There was no telling who he would invite to his end-of-the-summer-party.
“Oh! I almost forgot, have you met that new kid who moved in to town around the end of school?” Payge asked me. “No…I remember people talking about him though. Must’ve been a sucky summer. He didn’t know anyone, right?” “Don’t think so. But Tabor was telling me about him, I guess his family’s property backs up to the lake in the woods behind Tabor’s house so they hung out a couple times.” She explained. “What’s his name?” I asked. “Um, I think it was Luke or something. Tabor said he’s nice enough, not a freak or anything.” We laughed. “Hmm, I haven’t met anyone named Luke lately.”
I thought about it for a second. The only Luke I ever knew wasn’t a Luke, but a Lukas. He was my neighbor when I was little. We were inseparable and we did everything together; then Reilly moved in across the street and she did everything with the two of us as well. When we were around eight years old his family moved away, and it become just Reilly and me. I had forgotten about Lukas for a while. I use to think he was special because he got to move and I had to stay in the same place.
“Me either. I wonder what he looks like.” She said, thinking. “And I wonder what he did the days you and Tabor were together.” I joked; Payge and Tabor have been an unofficial thing since early July. “I’m just curious.” She said mock-innocently.
“What do you think!?” Reilly asked eagerly. “So cute.” “Love it.” Payge and I answered. Reilly smiled. “Okay, I’m getting it.” She said. “Well hurry up! We’re going to run out of time to get ready!” Payge ushered. I laughed, we still had a good three hours until the party.
going to try and do a chapter a week if i get some type of feedback
