Okay, I just want to take the time to talk about something.
Judgment.
We all judge people, so if you've ever said you haven't, you're lying.
It is human nature to judge people, places, things, etc.
From the time you're a little kid, you're told to stay away from 'shady' looking people.
Whoever raised you taught you to judge people and at the same time told you not to do it.
When you went to the park, or the mall, or wherever.
Whenever your parents saw someone who looked weird or like they would murder you,
they would say, "Honey, don't go near that person, they're bad." Or something along those lines.
Then they turn right around and say it's not nice to judge people.
We cannot survive without judgment. We need it to survive.
If someone threatened to kill you would you think, "I don't know how I feel about this"?
Would you have to think about whether or not it's safe?
No.
You know that if someone legtitimatally threatens to kill you, it's dangerous.
We need judgment to survive.
But what we don't need is to say those judgments.
If you keep your judgments about people in your head, nothing bad can happen.
You are free to think whatever you want,
but saying you think someone is fat, ugly, annoying, stupid, etc. is not okay.
Thank you.
