Imagining the future is a kind of nostalgia.
You spend your whole life stuck in the labyrinth,
thinking about how you'll escape it one day,
and how awesome it will be,
and imagining that future keeps you going,
    but you never do it.
You just use the future to escape the present.

We learned from John Green (or, if you are like me, math) that there are infinite numbers between one and two.
And so, if there are infinite numbers between then and now
All that is contained within them must too, be infinite.
And thus, if we are contained within the beginning and the end we are as infinite as the stars, as the numbers, as the sky.
But we are not infinite, because we come to an end. We, in mind, are finite. But that is only in mind.
Because there are infinite ways our body will decompose and our energy will be recycled, and one day, should the world begin again, we will be born once more.
    Infinately finite.

❝Nerds like us are allowed to be unironically enthusiastic about stuff… Nerds are allowed to love stuff, like jump-up-and-down-in-the-chair-can’t-control-yourself love it. Hank, when people call people nerds, mostly what they’re saying is ‘you like stuff.’ Which is just not a good insult at all. Like, ‘you are too enthusiastic about the miracle of human consciousness’.
