"I am simply a 'book drunkard.' Books have the same irresistible temptation for me that liquor has for it's devotee. I cannot withstand them." - L.M. Montgomery

Boy: So what kind of guys do you like? Me: The fictional kind. Boy: So I have no chance? Me: Not unless you are a victor, a helpless boy with cancer and no leg, a paranormal creature loving a human, a man named after his number of fears, a DHI, or one of the last men on Earth. Boy: ...Bye.
Why reading is f/cking awesome: 1.You don't have to talk to people. 2.You can fantasize about fictional boys (until the author kills them off of course). 3.There's no conversation that uses "thx" "plz" or incorrect use of the words your and you're. 4.THE GLORIOUS FANDOMS. 5.Education, fool. 6.The book is always better than the movie, just saying. and if that hasn't convinced you read a few John Green books and get back to me.

That moment when you finish a book, look around and realise that everyone is just carrying on with their lives ... As though you didn't just experience emotional trauma at the hands of a paperback.
