It's impossible to never get your feelings hurt, because you have a soul, and I don't think there's such a thing as *letting* someone hurt your feelings because you can't control your instinctual reaction - it is what it is, and it's valid. Allowing something means you consciously consented to or passively viewed it taking place, and emotions aren't a pre-offered, pre-made choice nor could they be accurately described as passive (they're anything but). Don't feel silly or wrong for being bothered. Hopefully it will pass quickly, but either way I love you and you are okay. 💞
