Tell him the reasons why you don't want him smoking. It can and most likely will give him cancer if he keeps it up. Tell him that you care about him, but you don't tolerate him doing that! I am highly against smoking too. Try to ask him why is it such a big deal for him to harm himself by smoking? If he says it relieves stress or something, tell him it stresses you out and it upsets you.
If he truly cares and loves you, he wouldn't be doing things that would upset you. He shouldn't have the "I don't give a crap" attitude.
Tell him that if he keeps it up, you will break up with him. (That's probably very hard and hurtful to think about, but in the long run, what if he gets worse, or starts to do other things?)
Update me on what happens, and be careful, he could lie and say he stopped, when he's still secretly doing it. You're a strong girl, and you're GORGEOUS! Don't let him get away with doing things that hurt you. I hope everything works out and he quits. ♥

I would try to get him to compromise on it and make sure he knows how against smoking you are. If nothing good comes out of it and he cant respect the fact that you are against it, and you guys cant come up with some arrangement on how much is too much or something like that, then i would probably end it. Respect your values and morals and if he cant respect them and cant agree with your point of view you deserve someone who can

Depends on how far he goes with the smoking...just wait and see what happens. If it gets to the point where he is putting smoking before you and keeping it a secret, then he's not worth it. If it's like the occasional puff because he's stressed or wants a good high or something, i wouldn't worry about it.
