Eating disorders
should
not be about weight.
Period. I've
been told
countless
times that I am not
bad anymore
simply because
I'm not
underweight.
I am being
denied treatment
because of this
fact. I am
treated by doctors as
if
I have no issues.
And all these
things have done
have made
me more desperate
to lose
weight and fit the
stereotypical
boundaries
that anorexia
holds. Because
that's
the only way that I
will get
help. I think
that is a very disgusting
thing. Do
people with less
severe forms
of cancer be
denied treatment
or be treated
like they don't
have an issue,
no. Cancer is
cancer.
And an eating
disorder
is an eating disorder.
No matter
what the persons
weight
is.
