I used to hide  behind my smile
I thought maybe if I smiled
No one would ever know
You are probably thinking
What would they know?
They would  know the thoughts in my head
The times I got sad
And felt alone
And the days where I felt worthless and thought no one even cared
After a lot of thinking I realized there are people who care
Sometimes they don't have the time to show it
But they care
Lately I've been trying new things in life
Trying to help others and meet new people
But there's this one guy out there and he knows who he is
He made me realize this and he made me realize who I am
He didn't change me at all
I am the same old Kelsey
He just told me what was already true
The only thing he changed
Was that the smile on my face
Is now a real genuine smile
And I feel like I'm on the road to happiness
