I really wish I could take a compliment
I wish I could accept the fact
That somebody likes the way I look
Somebody likes the way I dress
Somebody likes my personality
That there's something about me that someone likes
But no I get negative and deny it
I used to be a whole lot worse
And I'm getting better
But one day I just want to accept a compliment
And believe it
Instead of tearing apart my flaws
Because I should not treat myself like that
