Fall down through the endless sky
I promise to catch you
Back away from the dying crowds
I promise to save you
Flee from the voiceless screams
They’ll never get you
Every negative breath blown your way
Will be opposed by my nothingness devoted to your today
I can speak poetically
And dazzle you with tone behind my voice behind my words
Rip off my mask and find the nature of the being I was before
Kiss my lips from twenty feet away and pretend I’m someone else
Ill dip you into your own beauty
Carving my heart into a shelf
Put your prized possessions on my soul
Pretend I’m not the one who wont let go
Pretend that even though we keep bumping our knees
That my lips will meet yours in a startling defeat
I will hide away in my own little castle
And control myself as much as I can
Keeping myself from tell and kiss
Without permission from your lips
And I start to wonder
if it count as kiss and tell
If our lips never met
Or if I can smile over loving you
When you are still my only regret
Maybe I’ll keep my mouth shut for longer
Locked lips like tangled vines
The fruit of the seed may never bloom in time
The winter will come too soon
And you’ll have faded from my reach
I will wilt and sink
And watch in admiration as you find beauty
In everything
Because
When you fall through the bottomless ground
I will follow you down
When you lose track of the ticking clock
Ill remind you to turn around
I will never let you swallow
Any of the tears that make you drown
Because I love you from a distance
And Ill never make a sound
