Chapter Twelve

HOURS LATER

It’s show time! Okay, we’ve actually got like ten minutes, and I’m a lot more nervous than I expected to be. It’s the first show in a while, and I just want it to go right.
“Hey,” Fizz said, walking up behind me as I waited at the edge of the stage.
“Hey Mini-Me,” I responded, turning around and smiling.
“Nervous?” she asked and I shrugged.
“More than I expected to be,” I chuckled.
“Don’t be,” she responded. “You do this all the time. I wish I could, I love to entertain.”
“I’ve noticed,” I said and she scoffed.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” she asked and I laughed.
“Nothing,” I responded.
“Boys! You’ve got one minute!” the stage manager yelled.
“That’s my cue,” I chuckled. “Good luck hug?”
“You’re so weird,” Fizzy chuckled, hugging me.
Before she could let go, I quickly leaned down and kissed her.
“Niall! Get on stage!” the stage manager yelled and I let go of my best friend.
“Gotta go,” I said, running onto the stage.
I looked back at her really quickly, and she smiled as Sophie dragged her back where I couldn’t see her.
FIZZY’S POV
He kissed me. Guys… He. Kissed. Me. Of course, the girls saw and I’m currently being question by squealing idiots.
“Are you gonna date him!?” Kyra shouted.
“Oh my God he kissed you. He kissed you!” Avery shouted, jumping up and down.
“Girls, girls,” I chuckled. “It was only a little kiss, calm down.”
“You know you want to jump up and down and scream,” Sophie said and I smiled.
“I know!” I shouted, jumping up and down with the other girls. “He kissed me!”
“So what happens now?” Avery asked.
“I dunno,” I said, smiling uncontrollably.
“He has to ask you out now,” Kyra said and I laughed.
“He kinda has to perform for his fans,” I responded and she rolled her eyes.
“Well, when he’s done,” she said. “He has to ask you out.”
“Maybe,” I chuckled and the girls got all smiley again.
“C’mon,” I chuckled. “Let’s go watch the guys from the front row.”
