I need HELP!
Okay if you read this please respond with your advice in the comments. So there's this girl in my year she's really annoying but I feel sorry for her so I talk to her etc... she really bugs me and thinks I am her best friend. I'd never be mean to her to her face but my friends hate her. So they are constantly talking behind her back. Me and this girl had a conversation and she was trying to be funny but she was making a bit of a fool out of herself. On that particular day I was feeling really upset and depressed so I showed one of my bestfriends the conversation. She made fun of what the girl had said and I kind of did too:/
My bestfriend saved the conversation I'd sent her to her phone and the next day showed it to one of my other friends at school.
They both laughed ta what she had said and I told them not to show anyone else becuase it's a shame.
Later that day the annoying girl came up to me wondering why I had shown my friends the conversation we had. That's right one of my "friends" had been talking about it to another person and she'd overheard the conversation about her. I told a lie and said that my friend knew my fb account password and that's how she knew. She belived it and that was fine.

HOWEVER later that day the annoying girl got made fun of by a boy and she started to cry. I took her to the pupil support base at school and they looked after her.
Later the girl had told me that she had to write down everything that was making her upset including the incident that I was involved in and she had written down the lie I had told thinking it was the truth. I am now going to be in so much trouble tomorrow and I NEED ANY ADVICE OR HELP THAT COULD HELP ME AS I WAS NOT INTENDING TO BULLY HER, OR LIE TO HER. I NEED HELP SOMEONE PLEASE?

tell the truth. its the right thing to do. it may be hard, but its what needs to be done.

Be nice to her and explain the situation. She'll be upset but she deserves an honest answer to what's going on. I'm sorry you might get in trouble, but it's what might have to happen.

And as for your 'friends', sorry but they don't sound that great. They made the situation worse.

Good luck though, and who knows, you and the girl might wind up good friends.

Basically tell her the truth about everything, get a member of staff at school to talk to her, after all she's probably just paranoid it might not sound like much but it does wonders. Remember it's not what you say, it's how you say it:-)xx

i think you made a mistake by lying to her and making fun of her, the best thing to do when you make a mistake is to correct it. so tell the truth and correct it, or else you'll be just as bad as the rest of your mates. good luck :) x

if your friends dont respect her, then they probably arent your true friends. lets say you did something that wasnt so cool or whatever, i bet you 10 bucks that they would laugh behind your back and do the same thing they do to the other girl. this girl probably really needs a friend. i had a similar situation and i told myself, "this girl needs a friend." and now on this day she is probably the best friend i ever had. she may not be liked by others, but to me that doesnt matter. if i were in her shoes, i would want a friend. so just talk to her. tell her the truth. be there for her regardless of what others say. do whats right. hun, i have faith in you:) good luck:)
